Malacology is the branch of invertebrate zoology that deals with the study of the Mollusca, the second-largest phylum of animals in terms of described species after the arthropods. Mollusks include snails and slugs, clams, and cephalopods, along with numerous other kinds, many of which have shells. Malacology derives from Ancient Greek μαλακός (malakós) 'soft', and -λογία (-logía).

The Institute for Palestine Studies (IPS) is the oldest independent nonprofit public service research institute in the Arab world. It was established and incorporated in Beirut, Lebanon, in 1963 and has since served as a model for other such institutes in the region. It is the only institute in the world solely concerned with analyzing and documenting Palestinian affairs and the Arab–Israeli conflict. It also publishes scholarly journals and has published over 600 books, monographs, and documentary collections in English, Arabic and French—as well as its renowned quarterly academic journals: Journal of Palestine Studies, Jerusalem Quarterly, and Majallat al-Dirasat al-Filistiniyyah. IPS's Library in Beirut is the largest in the Arab world specializing in Palestinian affairs, the Arab–Israeli conflict, and Judaica.

FinanzArchiv is an international academic journal of economics published quarterly by Mohr Siebeck, Tübingen, Germany. The journal publishes high quality papers in all fields of public finance, such as taxation, public debt, public goods, public choice, federalism, market failure, social policy and the welfare state.

The Historical Archive on Tourism is sited in the city of Berlin at the Technische Universität Berlin where it is housed at the Center for Metropolitan Studies (CMS) and the Zentrum Technik und Gesellschaft (ZTG). The HAT had been founded in 1986/87 at the Freie Universität Berlin; in 2011 international protests helped to avert a planned shut-down of the archive and the following year it moved from the Free to the Technical University. Since 1999 the HAT is headed by the historian Hasso Spode and co-financed by the Willy-Scharnow-Foundation.

Former editors include Hans-Georg Gadamer, Joachim Ritter, Karlfried Gründer, Ulrich Dierse, and Gunter Scholtz. Articles are published in German, with abstracts in English.

It was established in 1907 and is the official journal of the Internationale Vereinigung für Rechts- und Sozialphilosophie. Langenbeck's Archives of Surgery, established in 1860 as Archiv für Klinische Chirurgie by founding editor Bernhard von Langenbeck, is the oldest medical journal of surgery in the world. It is the official journal of several European surgical societies: German Society of Surgery, German Society of General and Visceral Surgery, German Association of Endocrine Surgeons, European Society of Endocrine Surgeons, and the German, Austrian and Swiss Surgical Associations for Minimal Invasive Surgery. The journal is currently published by Springer Science+Business Media and the editor-in-chief is Markus W. Büchler. The journal was original published in German, but is exclusively in English since 1998, when it obtained its current English title.

AStA Advances in Statistical Analysis is a peer-reviewed mathematics journal published quarterly by Springer Science+Business Media and the German Statistical Society. It was established in 2007, and covers statistical theory, methods, methodological developments, as well as probability and mathematics applications. Coverage is organized into three broad areas: statistical applications, statistical methodology, and review articles. The editor were Göran Kauermann (2009–2019) and Stefan Lang (2009–2014). In 2022 the editor are Thomas Kneib and Yarema Okhrin.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Archiv Produktion</span> Record label

Archiv Produktion is a classical music record label of German origin. It originated in 1949 as a classical label for the Deutsche Grammophon Gesellschaft (DGG), and in 1958 Archiv was established as a subsidiary of DGG, specialising in recordings of Early and Baroque music. It has since developed a particular focus on "historically informed performance" and the work of artists of the Early music revival movement of the 20th and 21st centuries.

The Air & Space Power Journal was name of the flagship journal of the Department of the United States Air Force from 2001 to 2021. The journal, now named Air & Space Operations Review, is a quarterly military science scholarly journal published by Air University Press, the academic publisher of the United States Air Force, in English. Due to budget cuts, the print version was temporarily suspended in 2022. Its website hosts electronic versions of all past publications. The journal is headquartered at Maxwell AFB in Montgomery, Alabama.

Erdkunde - Archive for Scientific Geography is a quarterly peer-reviewed academic journal of geography published at the University of Bonn (Germany). Articles have been published in English since 2008. Since September 2016, the journal is available online and open access. All articles are available for free immediately and publication fees are not charged. Archived volumes are available via the journal's website, but are also made available via JSTOR. The printed version of the journal is distributed worldwide via subscriptions. Erdkunde publishes scientific articles covering the whole range of physical geography and human geography. The journal offers state of the art reports on recent trends and developments in specific fields of geography and comprehensive and critical reviews of new geographical publications. High-quality maps and large-format supplements are of particular importance. Since 2021, the journal offers the option of publishing data publications.

The Archiv für Musikwissenschaft is a quarterly German-English-speaking trade magazine devoted to music history and historical musicology, which publishes articles by well-known academics and young scholars.

<i>Archiv der Pharmazie</i> Academic journal

The Archiv der Pharmazie is a monthly peer-reviewed scientific journal covering all aspects of chemistry in the life sciences. The journal was established in 1822 and is published by Wiley-VCH on behalf of the Deutsche Pharmazeutische Gesellschaft. Until 2019, the editor-in-chief was Holger Stark. He was succeeded in 2020 by Andreas Link.
