Chart positions

The album debuted at #1 in the Swedish albums chart. [1] There were five singles to be spawned from the album. In April 2009, the album was certified Platinum in Sweden by the IFPI [2] in recognition of 40,000 copies sold.

Deluxe edition

Following E.M.D.'s participation in Melodifestivalen 2009, A State of Mind was re-released to include their Melodifestivalen entry "Baby Goodbye", which eventually became the group's fourth consecutive #1 hit in Sweden. [3] Also included on the release were new songs "Youngblood" (later released as a digital download single) and "I'm No Romeo".

Agnes (singer)

Agnes Emilia Carlsson, known mononymously as Agnes, is a Swedish recording artist. She rose to fame as the winner of Idol 2005, the second season of the Swedish Idol series. She was then signed to Sony Music, through which she released her self-titled debut album, Agnes, and follow-up, Stronger, both of which topped the Swedish Top 60 Albums Chart. In early 2008, it was announced that Agnes had parted ways with her record label, and was now signed to small independent label Roxy Recordings. Released on 28 October 2008, her third album, Dance Love Pop, reached number five in Sweden, 70 in Austria, 38 in France, 45 in Switzerland and 13 in the United Kingdom. With 200,000 albums sold worldwide this is her most successful album, 50,000 albums were sold in France, 40,000 in Sweden. Its first two singles, "On and On" and "Release Me" became international hits, reaching the top-ten in charts worldwide. "Release Me" topped the Billboard Hot Dance Club Songs and peaked at three in the United Kingdom, selling over 900,000 copies worldwide.

<i>Agnes</i> (album) 2005 studio album by Agnes

Agnes is the self-titled debut studio album by Swedish singer and Idol 2005 winner Agnes Carlsson, released on 19 December 2005 by Columbia Records. The album debuted at number one on the Swedish Albums Chart and stayed there for two weeks. The lead single, "Right Here, Right Now ", written and produced by Jörgen Elofsson, topped the Swedish Singles Chart for six weeks. The second single from the album, "Stranded", was less successful, peaking at number 27 on the Swedish Singles Chart.

Da Buzz is a Swedish Eurodance/pop music group. Members of the group are writers/producers Per Lidén and Pier Schmid and lead-singer Annika Thörnquist. All three are from Karlstad.

BWO (band)

BWO was a Swedish electropop group, formed in 2003. Prior to early 2006 they used the name Bodies Without Organs. In Sweden they have enjoyed considerable commercial success throughout their career, so far notching up 15 Top 40 singles, including a Number 1 with "Temple of Love", and five Top 10 albums including a Number 1 with Halcyon Days, and have won several major Swedish music awards.

<i>Cuz I Can</i> (album) 2004 studio album by Ana Johnsson

Cuz I Can is the first album by the Swedish pop rock singer Ana Johnsson under the name Ana. The album was released exclusively in Sweden on April 14, 2004. It was later worldwide-released as The Way I Am, so that this latter is sometimes considered to be the first album by Johnsson. The latter album has a different cover and track listing; otherwise the albums are identical. The Way I Am contains the first seven songs from Cuz I Can and some new tracks, including the huge hit "We Are", which was the official soundtrack for the Spider-Man 2 film, "Don't Cry for Pain" and "Coz I Can", a remix of "Cuz I Can". The leftover tracks were included as B-sides on the later released singles.

Four singles were released from the album in Sweden with an additional track charting from promotion. This is the first Darin album to be released internationally, being released in Germany on 28 September 2007 with an altered track listing.

E.M.D.

E.M.D. was a Swedish boyband consisting of Erik Segerstedt, Mattias Andréasson and Danny Saucedo. All three members had participated on the Swedish version of Idol, with Erik as a finalist and Danny at 6th place on Idol 2006. Mattias was eliminated as the fourth runner-up on Idol 2007.

The discography of Måns Zelmerlöw, a Swedish pop singer and television presenter. His debut studio album, Stand by For..., was released in March 2007. It peaked at number 1 on the Swedish Albums Chart. In November 2006, it was announced that Zelmerlöw would compete in Melodifestivalen 2007, Sweden's national final for the Eurovision Song Contest 2007, to be held in Helsinki, Finland. He competed with the song "Cara Mia" in the 3rd semi-final on 17 February 2007 in Örnsköldsvik, and progressed to the final, which was held on 10 March at Globen in Stockholm. There his performance of "Cara Mia" finished in third place behind winners The Ark and runner-up Andreas Johnson. Four singles were released from the album; "Cara Mia", "Work of Art ", "Brother Oh Brother" and "Miss America", all of which reached the Top 50 in on the Swedish Singles Chart. MZW, Zelmerlöw's second studio album, was released in March 2009. The album peaked at number 1 on the Swedish Albums Chart. On 18 November 2008, it was announced that he would once again compete in Melodifestivalen, this time with the song "Hope & Glory". Zelmerlöw took part in the second semi-final on 14 February 2009 and once again progressed to the final on 14 March at Globen. "Hope & Glory" ultimately placed fourth despite receiving the most votes from the jury. Four singles were released from the album; "Impossible", "Hope & Glory" and "Hold On" reached the Top 50 in on the Swedish Singles Chart. "Rewind" was released as the fourth single from the album in Poland. Christmas with Friends, Zelmerlöw's third studio album, was released in November 2010. Kära vinter, Zelmerlöw's fourth studio album, was released in December 2011. Both albums include the singles "December" and "Vit som en snö" with Pernilla Andersson. Barcelona Sessions, Zelmerlöw's fifth studio album, was released in February 2014. The album peaked at number 3 on the Swedish Albums Chart and includes the singles "Broken Parts", "Beautiful Life" and "Run for Your Life". Perfectly Damaged, Zelmerlöw's sixth studio album, was released in June 2015. It peaked at number 1 on the Swedish Albums Chart. In 2015 it was announced that Zelmerlöw would compete in Melodifestivalen 2015, Sweden's national final for the Eurovision Song Contest 2015. He competed with the song "Heroes" in the 4th semi-final on 28 February 2015 in Örebro, and progressed to the final, which was held on 14 March 2015 at the Friends Arena in Stockholm. There his performance of "Heroes" finished first and represented Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015, held at the Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna, Austria. He performed during the 2nd Semi-final on 21 May 2015 for a place in the Final. The song progressed to the Final which took place on 23 May 2015. The song went on to win the contest with 365 points. "Should've Gone Home" was released as the second single from the album. The song peaked at number 27 on the Swedish Singles Chart. "Fire in the Rain" was released as the lead single from the re-issued version of the album titled Perfectly Re:Damaged. The song peaked at number 31 on the Swedish Singles Chart. Chameleon, Zelmerlöw's seventh studio album, was released in December 2016. It peaked at number 6 on the Swedish Albums Chart. "Fire in the Rain" was released as the lead single from the album. "Hanging on to Nothing" was released as the second single from the album on 26 August 2016. The song did not enter the Swedish Singles Chart, but peaked at number 2 on the Sweden Heatseeker Songs. "Glorious" was released as the third single from the album on 24 November 2016. The song did not enter the Swedish Singles Chart, but peaked at number 17 on the Sweden Heatseeker Songs. It reached number one in Quebec and top ten on the digital charts in Canada and France, and number seven on the US Dance Club Songs chart.
