Abdikhadir Ahmed Aw-Ali (Somali : Cabdiqaadir Axmed Aw-Cali, born 1972), nicknamed Firdhiye, is a Somali politician who serves as the current president of Khatumo State of Somalia. [1]
Firdhiye was born in Taleh in 1972. He received his primary and secondary education at Las Anod. He studied Islamic Studies at Umma University in Kenya. [2] In addition, he holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Nairobi. [3]
He lived in Nairobi as assistant manager of Amal company in Nairobi. Since 2009, he has had the idea to make Khatumo independent, which affected his work and he was temporarily laid off from the company, but was reinstated shortly after. [3]
On August 5, 2023, he became the President of the SSC-Khatumo with 30 votes out of 45 on the Central Council. [2] [4] The election was reportedly a democratic process. [5] He was 51 years old at the time. [6]
On August 25, he visited a hospital in Yagori and delivered a speech. [7] At the speech, he reported that SSC-Khatumo had taken over the Somaliland Force's Gooja-Adde base east of Las Anod. [8] On August 26, he mentioned the exchange of prisoners of war with Somaliland. [9] On August 27, Firdhiye asked the Somaliland government not to attack Las Anod. [10]
On August 29, Firdhiye visited Guumays, welcomed Vice President of Puntland. [11]
On September 15, Firdhiye demanded that the Federal Government of Somalia recognize that SSC-Khatumo belongs to Somalia. [12]
On 6 October 2023, an SSC delegation led by Firdhiye was invited by Somalia Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre to visit the Somalia capital Mogadishu. In response, Faysal Ali Warabe, Chairperson of the Somaliland Opposition Party UCID, said, "Firdhiye does not represent Las Anod and the town will eventually be returned to Somaliland." [13]
Sool is an administrative region (gobol) in ssc-khaatumo North east of Somalia. It borders Togdheer to the west, Waqooyi galbeed to the west North, Sanaag to the north, Ethiopia to the south and Nugal, Bari to the east. Its capital city is Las Anod. The region is mainly controlled by ssc-khaatumo it's majorily settled by the Dhulbahante sub-clan of Harti Daarood.

Ahmed Abdi Mohamud Sugulle "Habsade" is a Puntland and Somaliland politician. He was a decorated Colonel in the Somali Armed Forces and the second in command of the Somali Custodial Corps equivalent to that of the Italian Arma dei Carabinieri but the Custodial Corps fall under the Ministry of the Interior and are part of the Police Force. A politician and respected elder later in life (he was instrumental in the founding of Somaliland and became the Speaker of the Somaliland House of Representatives. On February 8, the supreme Garad of Dhulbahante, Garad Jama Garad Ali, declared an intent to secede and reunite with the Federal Government of Somalia.
