Mullah Abdul Manan Niazi (Pashto :ملاعبدالمناننیازی;died 15 May 2021) was an Afghan politician and military commander. In the 1990s,he was the governor of the Herat and Balkh provinces. He was one of the famous commanders of the splinter group of the Taliban led by Mullah Rasool,and one of the opponents of the Taliban group led by Mullah Hibatullah Akhundzada. He had many times managed the bloody conflicts between these two groups. He was also a critic of the policy of regional countries,especially Iran and Pakistan,towards Afghanistan.
Mullah Niazi was born in 1968 in Pashtun Zarghun. [1] His family hailed from Kandahar. He studied at a madrassa. [2]

On 8 August 1998,During his governorship,and following the fall of the city of Mazar-i-Sharif by the Taliban,the headquarters of the Iranian consulate in this city was attacked and its diplomats disappeared. It was later reported that these diplomats were killed. Iran declared the Taliban group responsible for the killing of these diplomats,but this group claimed at that time that the killing was carried out by "arbitrary forces". [5] [6]
The most criticisms against him go back to the time when it is said that he was the "governor" of Balkh Province during the rule of the Taliban Emirate in Afghanistan,precisely when this province was at war and was changing hands. [7]
On 11 May 2021,He was severely wounded in an attack by Taliban militants in Kariz-e-Mikhi,in the border between Guzara and Adraskan districts. He died of his injuries on 15 May in a hospital in Kabul. [8]
The history of the Jews in Afghanistan goes back at least 2,500 years. High Council of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (HCIEA) (Pashto:دٙاَفغانِستاناِسلامياِمارَتعاليشوریٰ,romanized: DəAfġānistān IslāmīImārat ĀlīŠūrā ;Dari:شُورٰایِعٰالئِاِمٰارَتِاِسلٰامئِاَفغٰانِستٰان,romanized: Šūrā-yi Ālī-yi Imārat-i Islāmī-yi Afġānistān) was a breakaway Taliban faction active in Afghanistan since 2015. The faction broke away from the Taliban in 2015 following the appointment of Akhtar Mansour as the leader of the Taliban and elected Muhammad Rasul as its leader. The faction was involved in deadly clashes with mainstream Taliban in southern and western Afghanistan,leaving scores of dead on both sides. The Islamic Republic of Afghanistan allegedly provided financial and military support to the faction,however,both the Islamic Republic and the faction denied this. Following the Taliban offensive of 2021 and the fall of Afghanistan to Taliban forces,the group dissolved,and its leaders pledged allegiance to the new government.

The politics of Afghanistan are based on a totalitarian emirate within the Islamic theocracy in which the Taliban Movement holds a monopoly on power. Mawlawi Mehdi Mujahid was an ethnic Hazara rebel from Afghanistan who led around 200 Hazara fighters during the Balkhab uprising. He was a Taliban commander before rebelling against the Taliban until he was killed on 17 August 2022.
The Balkhab uprising was a Hazara rebellion in Balkhab district,Sar-e Pol Province,Afghanistan against the Taliban. It was led by Mehdi Mujahid,and it began on 23 June 2022 after Mehdi Mujahid's forces captured Balkhab district.

Mujib-ur-Rahman Ansari was an Afghan mullah and cleric who operated in the city of Herat. An ally of the Taliban,Ansari was considered to be a Salafist and Wahhabist preacher,and was a staunch opponent of the American-backed Afghan government. In the late 2010s,Ansari seized control of a district of Herat,where he established extrajudicial sharia courts and checkpoints operated by his armed enforcers. A Taliban official described Ansari as being Afghanistan's most popular religious scholar in 2022.
