You Am I are an Australian alternative rock band, fronted by lead singer-songwriter-guitarist, Tim Rogers. Adam Lyons Schlesinger was an American songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and record producer. He was a founding member of the bands Fountains of Wayne, Ivy, and Tinted Windows, and was a key songwriting contributor and producer for Brooklyn-based synth-pop duo Fever High. He also wrote songs for television and film, for which he won three Emmy Awards, a Grammy Award, and the ASCAP Pop Music Award, and was nominated for Academy, Tony, and Golden Globe Awards.
Spit is the debut studio album by the Canadian heavy metal band Kittie, released on January 11, 2000 by both NG Records and Artemis Records. Kittie was formed in 1996 and got signed by NG Records after the band approached Jake Weiner, the record label's second-in-command. After seeing Kittie play live, Weiner signed the group to NG during the summer of 1999. NG was then acquired by Artemis Records toward the end of 1999 and Kittie recorded Spit at EMAC Studios in London, Ontario during the summer of 1999.

It was recorded at Pachyderm Studio in rural Cannon Falls, Minnesota, over eight days from July to August 1993 and was produced by Lee Ranaldo, with Wayne Connolly as mixer and audio engineer. It provided three singles, "Adam's Ribs", "Berlin Chair" and "Jaimme's Got a Gal" (May).

"Berlin Chair" also reached #23 in that year's Hottest 100, while in the 1998 Hottest 100 of All Time it came in at #61 and #52 in the 2009 Hottest 100 of All Time. In a phone-in poll in 1999, the song was voted best Australian song of the 1990s. The track was featured on the soundtrack to the PC game Quarantine, released in the same year.

Created by Paul Kehrer, Sean Schulte and Allie Young, the site is named after one of the show's recurring characters, Professor Frink. The site was critically acclaimed upon its launch, and Newsweek wrote that it "may be the greatest feat of Internet engineering we've ever seen". As of May 2016, screenshots from the first seventeen seasons of The Simpsons are in Frinkiac's database.
