Adnan Samad Khan is a Pakistani television actor. He is best known for the portrayal of Captain Gulzar in Hum TV's Ehd-e-Wafa for which he received Lux Style Award for Best Emerging Talent. [1] [2]

Early life and career

He born in Basti Gaddi, in Taunsa Sharif and he lives in Kot Adu district of punjab , He started his showbiz career right after intermediate a graduate of NAPA, Khan started his career from theater. He did theater plays for 4 years before making his on-screen debut. [3]

He first appeared in a supporting role in ISPR and Momina Duraid's Ehd-e-Wafa where he portrayed a military cadet of Siraki descent who later becomes a Captain. Khan received critical praise and many accolades for his performance in the series including the Lux Style Award. [4] [5] [6]

Ehd-e-Wafa is a Pakistani television series created by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) and Momina Duraid under MD Productions. The series originally aired on Hum TV, PTV Home and Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) channel from 22 September 2019 to 15 March 2020. Based on a script by Mustafa Afridi, the series is directed by Saife Hassan. It stars Ahad Raza Mir, Osman Khalid Butt, Ahmed Ali Akbar, Wahaj Ali, Alizeh Shah and Zara Noor Abbas.

Wahaj Ali is a Pakistani actor known for his appearance on Urdu television. After making his television debut with the soap serial Ishq Ibadat in 2015, Ali gained critical praise for playing Bangladeshi freedom fighter Shafi Imam Rumi in Jo Bichar Gaye (2021). He has also appeared in other notable roles. In 2023, Ali earned wider recognition, especially across the South Asian continent, for his portrayal of Murtasim Khan in the romance drama Tere Bin.

Mustafa Afridi is a screenwriter and occasional actor from Pakistan, known for his television plays in Urdu television industry such as Aseerzadi, Sang-e-Mar Mar and Ehd-e-Wafa. He is the recipient of a Hum Award and two Lux Style Awards of Best Television Writer.

Dil Na Umeed To Nahi is a Pakistani social drama television series produced by Kashf Foundation, directed by Kashif Nisar and written by Amna Mufti. It features Yumna Zaidi, Wahaj Ali, Fajar Khan, Bonita Malik, Muhammad Sadoon and Isbah Irfan in leading roles.
