PISA Awards has been described as a "fraud scam". Nabeel Zafar of Bulbulay criticized PISA and told that his name was being used to promote the event. [7] He also revealed that the organizers stopped communicating before the events and tickets were not given to him. Along with Nabeel, there were more than forty celebrities faced the same issue. Many other celebrities such as Osman Khalid Butt, Nadia Afgan, and many others criticized PISA. [8]

PISA was also criticized for having no jury. This award ceremony was described as one of the worst Pakistani award ceremonies.

The 3rd Hum Awards ceremony, presented by the Hum Television Network and Entertainment Channel (HTNEC), sponsored by Servis and Telenor, honored the best in fashion, music and Hum Television Dramas of 2014 and took place on 9 April 2015, at the Dubai World Trade Centre, Dubai, UAE at 8:30 p.m. UAE Standard Time and was televised on 23 May at 7:30 p.m. PST. During the ceremony, HTNEC presented Hum Awards in 25 categories along with 3 in honorary and 2 in special categories. Joru Ka Ghulam is a 2014 Pakistani television sitcom aired on Hum TV premiered on 14 October 2014. It stars Nabeel of Bulbulay fame, along with Shehnaz Pervaiz, Anam Tanveer and Mehmood Akhtar.

Aima Noor-ul Ain Baig is a Pakistani singer. She is known for her appearances on Dunya News' program Mazaaq Raat from 2015 to 2017. She rose to fame from her songs in Lahore Se Aagey (2016), after which she gained popularity through many other soundtracks and her appearance in Coke Studio. She was awarded Tamgha-e-Fakhre-Imtiaz in August 2019.

Pakistan International Screen Awards, also known as PISA, is an annual award ceremony that honours excellence in Pakistani television, film, fashion, music and digital industry.

Pakistan Super League (PSL) is the highest level of domestic Twenty20 cricket in Pakistan. The league is owned by the Pakistan Cricket Board and its first season was played in 2016. The league, when it started, included five teams: Karachi Kings, Quetta Gladiators, Peshawar Zalmi, Islamabad United, and Lahore Qalandars. The third season of the league in 2018 saw the inclusion of Multan Sultans as the sixth team to compete in the tournament. The league has been organized every year since its first season and all the teams have won the trophy at least once. The first season of the PSL was won by Islamabad United, who were captained by Misbah ul Haq, who was also the captain of the Pakistan national cricket team at that time. Lahore Qalandars are the current champions of the PSL.

Asma Nabeel was a Pakistani screenwriter, poet, producer and creative consultant. She wrote scripts for Pakistani dramas such as Khuda Mera Bhi Hai and Khaani.

The 2nd Pakistan International Screen Awards, known as PISA 2021, were held on 5 November 2021 in Dubai.
