Farah Shah is a Pakistani television actress and former model. She made her acting debut with the role of Mehru in PTV World's classic series Boota From Toba Tek Singh (1999). Shah's career spans for more than 20 years. She worked in various hits on Urdu Television including Landa Bazar (2002), Chashman (2006), Khuda Aur Muhabbat (2011), Numm (2013), Gul-e-Rana (2015), Choti Si Zindagi (2016), Toh Dil Ka Kiya Hua (2017), Suno Chanda (2018). Her performance as the antagonist in Mohabbat Subh Ka Sitara Hai (2013) and Abro (2016) earned her a nomination for Hum Award in a negative role category. She has played the role of Naeema in Hum TV's Suno Chanda 2. [1] [2]

Career

Entering showbiz while young, Shah became a host on a Lollywood music countdown program Yehi To Hai Lolly-wood. [3] She then pursued acting from Boota from Toba Tek Singh being one of her earliest appearances in drama series. In 2018, she made a cameo appearance in Angeline Malik's social initiative Inkaar Karo to raise awareness about women's empowerment in Pakistan. [4]

<i>Suno Chanda</i> 2018 Pakistani television series

Suno Chanda is a 2018 Pakistani Ramadan romantic comedy series developed by Shahzad Javed, directed by Ahson Talish, and written by Saima Akram Chaudhry. The series celebrates Pakistani wedding traditions and narrates the story of a couple who are cousins in Nikaah, living separately as the Rukhsati is yet to happen, and the relationship between their families. It was aired every day on Hum TV.

Mizna Waqas, also known as Mizna, is a Pakistani television and theatre actress known for her supporting roles in several acclaimed drama series. She has played the role of Billo in Hum TV's popular series Suno Chanda and its sequel Suno Chanda 2. She also played the role of Naveeda of Haji Nazar's wife in Bakhtawar.

Suno Chanda 2 is a 2019 Pakistani romantic comedy television series produced by Momina Duraid under their production banner MD Productions. It is a sequel to the 2018 series Suno Chanda. It is directed by Ahson Talish and written by Saima Akram Chaudhry. The first episode of the series was aired on 7 May 2019. In this sequel, Farhan Saeed and Iqra Aziz reprise their roles as Arsal and Ajiya respectively. It also focuses on story of Mithu and Maina played by Raza Talish and Sabeena Farooq respectively. The serial became a sleeper hit in Pakistan, India and the United Kingdom.

<i>Choti Choti Batain</i> Pakistani television anthology series

Choti Choti Batain is a 2019 Pakistani anthology television series, created and developed by Shahzad Javed, Head of Content, HUM TV, co-produced by Momina Duraid of MD Productions and Angeline Malik.

Saima Akram Chaudhry is a Pakistani screenwriter. She is known for her work in Pakistani television serials. She has also written the scripts of light-hearted Ramadan special dramas including Suno Chanda, Chupke Chupke, Hum Tum, Ishq Jalebi and Chaudhry and Sons.
