Adrian Geovana Nunes Gomes (born 5 April 1990) is a Brazilian female artistic gymnast and part of the national team. She participated at the 2010 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. [1]
As a child, she began training at the State Sports Training Center (CETE) in Rio Grande do Sul. After taking part in a school cup at the Grêmio Náutico União, she ended up being called up to the club's team.
In 2005, she got her first chance to join the Brazilian women's artistic gymnastics team, but was dismissed after being accused of indiscipline and weight problems. After suffering injuries in 2007, she even quit her gymnastics career. It was in 2009 that Adrian was invited to return to Grêmio Náutico União to complete the team for the Brazilian Championships. In 2010, she returned to the Brazilian national team. [2]

Daniele Matias Hypólito is a Brazilian gymnast who competed at the 2000, 2004, 2008, 2012 and the 2016 Olympic Games. Hypólito is the first gymnast from Brazil to win a medal at the World Championships, a silver in floor exercise in 2001. She is also the nine-time senior all-around Brazilian national champion in artistic gymnastics, 2002 South American Games all-around champion and 2003 Pan American Games all-around bronze medalist. The Batalha dos Aflitos is a name used by the Brazilian press to refer to a memorable Campeonato Brasileiro Série B play-off match played on Saturday, 26 November 2005 between Náutico and Grêmio. The name, Batalha dos Aflitos, is used in reference to Náutico's stadium, the Estádio dos Aflitos, in the city of Recife, where the match was played and also to the enormous tension demonstrated by both clubs during the game, hence the term, Batalha . The eventual winners, in the occasion Grêmio, would be promoted to the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A in 2006.

Laís da Silva Souza is a Brazilian former artistic gymnast and aerial skier.
