Aeschremon ochrealis is a moth in the family Crambidae. It was described by Jan Asselbergs in 2008 [1] and is found in the United Arab Emirates. [2]
In a protracted conflict during the Spanish colonization of the Americas, Spanish colonisers gradually incorporated the territory that became the modern country of Guatemala into the colonial Viceroyalty of New Spain. The Spanish conquest of the Maya was a prolonged affair; the Maya kingdoms resisted integration into the Spanish Empire with such tenacity that their defeat took almost two centuries.

Gonzalo de Alvarado y Chávez was a Spanish conquistador and cousin of Pedro de Alvarado and accompanied him on his first campaign in Guatemala. In 1525 he was appointed chief constable of Santiago de los Caballeros de Guatemala, the new capital. He married Isabel, a daughter of Jorge de Alvarado, his cousin. It is not known when he died.
