Aeterna Noctis is a 2021 Metroidvania video game developed in Spain by Aeternum Game Studios. [1] It was released in December 2021 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC (through Steam and Epic Games Store). [2]
The series narrates the story of a pair of monarchs who, after being cursed with immortality, have been fighting and killing each other for eternity. But then, a revelation unleashes a chain of events that helps the monarchs find a way to break the curse and find love in the process. [1]

The second installment in the series, Summum Aeterna , a prequel to Aeterna Noctis, was initially released for Steam in June 2022, and will be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch in late 2023. Klonoa is a platform video game series created by Namco in 1997. It stars Klonoa, an anthropomorphic creature who explores dream worlds. Earth Defense Force, known in Japan as Chikyū Bōeigun, is a science fiction third-person shooter video game series by D3 Publisher, originating as an offshoot of the Simple series. As of 2024, it consists of eleven entries and six main installments, developed and published by various studios and publishers since 2003, most predominantly Sandlot. The series follows the titular Earth Defense Force (EDF), an international armed force that fights to defend Earth from alien invasions. Shantae is a series of platform video games developed by WayForward. The eponymous heroine of the series, a half-genie, was created by Erin Bozon, while the games for this character were created by her husband Matt Bozon. Noctis Lucis Caelum, "Noct" for short, is a character from Square Enix's Final Fantasy video game series. The crown prince and protector of Lucis, Noctis must reclaim his country's Crystal from the empire of Niflheim, going on a journey to become the True King of legend and save his world from darkness.
