The Jubril Malafia Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Animation is an annual merit by the Africa Film Academy to reward the best animated films for the year. [1] In 2025, it was renamed after Jubril Malafia, a Nigerian animator who was murdered in 2018 in Jos, Plateau State. [2] [3]
