Agastya is a monotypic moth genus of the family Crambidae described by Frederic Moore in 1881. It contains only one species, Agastya hyblaeoides, described by the same author in the same year, which is found in Sikkim, India. [2]

It contains roughly 140 species on all continents and continental islands. Evergestine moths resemble Pyraustinae; however, the male genitalia have a long uncus and long, slender gnathos. The larvae feed mostly on Brassicaceae.
