Agder Kollektivtrafikk AS is a public transport administrator for the county of Agder, Norway.

It is owned by the Count of Agder and the Municipality of Kristiansand and works on behalf of Agder County Municipality and based in Kristiansand. It does not operate the transport, but has contracts with operators. There are four main bus terminals, in Kristiansand, Mandal, Lyngdal and Flekkefjord which are operated by Agder Kollektivtrafikk. It also operates the information system for publishing timetables in both Vest-Agder and Aust-Agder. [2]

AKT is owned 80% by the County Municipality of Agder and 20% by the Municipality of Kristiansand. [3]

Kristiansand Region is a statistical metropolitan region in Agder county in southern Norway. It is centered on the city of Kristiansand. The region consist of six municipalities in the centre of Southern Norway. Vennesla, Iveland, and Birkenes are inland municipalities while Kristiansand, Lindesnes, and Lillesand are coastal municipalities. Kristiansand is the largest municipality in population in the region.

Southern Norway is the geographical region (landsdel) along the Skagerrak coast of southern Norway. The region is an informal description since it does not have any governmental function. It roughly corresponds to the old petty kingdom of Agder being coextensive with the county, as well as the two former counties of Vest-Agder and Aust-Agder. From New Year 2020, the two counties have been merged into one county, Agder. The total combined area of Vest-Agder and Aust-Agder counties is 16,493 square kilometres (6,368 sq mi). Risør og Tvedestrand Bilruter was a Norwegian bus company that operated in the eastern parts of Agder on contract with the county administration of Aust-Agder. In June 2005, SBR sold its half to RTB. In 2007, the company had 36 buses and 85 employees, and was owned by the municipalities of Risør, Tvedestrand, Vegårshei and Gjerstad, where the bus company had most of its routes. Along with Setesdal Bilruter it bought Høvågruta in 2002.

Bussen Trafikkselskap was a Norwegian bus company that operated the yellow city bus in Kristiansand and surrounding areas Vennesla, Søgne and Songdalen. The company had about 300 employees and operates on contract with Agder Kollektivtrafikk. Nettbuss Sør took over the local buses in Kristiansand 01.01.2011.

Sørlandsruta AS is a Norwegian bus company that operates in Western Agder. It was founded in 1951 in a merger of 13 companies. The company has about 100 employees and operates on contract with Vest-Agder Kollektivtrafikk with base in Mandal. The most important route is Kristiansand - Mandal - Farsund - Flekkefjord that operates on a half-hour headway. The company is owned by the holding company Torghatten ASA who also owns Widerøe, Bastø Fosen, Norgesbuss, Trønderbilene and many more companies.

Østfold Kollektivtrafikk is a county agency responsible for administrating public transport in Østfold, Norway. Created on 1 June 2002 and subordinate Østfold county municipality, it is responsible for route planning, purchase of transport from operators, marketing, customer information related to public transport, as well as issuing permits for taxi, bus and truck transport. Train traffic, which is operated by Vy, is not included in the responsibilities of Østfold Kollektivtrafikk.

Solkollen is a neighbourhood in the city of Kristiansand in Agder county, Norway. It is located in the borough of Grim and in the district of Hellemyr. Solkollen is located to the north of Breimyr, to the west of the lake Eigevann, and to the north of Vestheiene.
