Agnieszka Renc (born 9 January 1986 in Warsaw) is a competitive rower from Poland. [1]
The European Rowing Championships is an international Rowing regatta organised by FISA for European rowing nations, plus Israel which, though not a member of the European federation is treated as a European nation for competition purposes.
Agnieszka Domańska is a Polish former ice dancer. She and partner Marcin Głowacki trained in Łódź, coached by Maria Olszewska-Lelonkiewicz.
The 2007 European Rowing Championships were held at the Lake Malta in Poznań, Poland, between 21 and 23 September 2007. The European Rowing Championships had previously been held between 1893 and 1973, had become an international regatta in character, and were disestablished when the World Rowing Championships became an annual event. After a decision made in May 2006 by FISA, the European Championships were re-established with a focus on Europe only.
Richard Schmidt is a German rower. He was part of the team that won the gold medal in the men's eight competition at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, he and the team also have won three World Rowing Championship titles and also four European Rowing Championship titles.
Jochen Kühner is a German rower. At the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics, he competed in the men's lightweight four. He has also been world champion in this event, along with his brother Martin Kühner, Jost Schömann-Finck and Matthias Schömann-Finck. He has also been world champion in the men's lightweight eight, and runner up in the men's lightweight pair, again with his brother.
Martin Kühner is a German competitive rower. He has won four medals at the World Rowing Championships with his twin brother Jochen.
Adelina Maria Boguș is a Romanian rower. She competed in the women's eight event at the 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics, winning a bronze medal.
Carina Bär is a German rower. At the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro she competed in women's quadruple sculls competition in which the German team won the gold medal. She had previous won the silver medal in the same even at the 2012 Summer Olympics.
Stany Delayre is a French rower. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he competed with Jérémie Azou in the men's lightweight double sculls, finishing in 4th place. On home water, he and Azou won the 2015 World Championship in that event. Their team also won the silver medal at the 2014 World Championships, and won the 2013, 2014 and 2015 European Championships. In 2009, Delayre was part of the French men's lightweight quadruple sculls time at the World Championships. He was also part of the French under-23s men's lightweight quadruple sculls at the 2006 and 2007 Junior World Rowing Championships.
Peter Chambers is a British rower, and is the brother of fellow rower Richard Chambers. He is a World Champion in the men's lightweight double sculls and an Olympic silver medalist in the men's lightweight coxless four.
Nathaniel “Noddy” Reilly-O'Donnell is a British rower educated at St Leonard's School, Durham and University College London.
Thomas Matthew Ransley is a retired British rower. At the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro he was part of the British crew that won the gold medal in the eight, was twice a World Champion and in 2015 was the European Champion in the men's coxless four.

Sylwia Lewandowska is a Polish rower. She is a World and Olympic medallist. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, she competed in the Women's quadruple sculls.
Joanna Leszczyńska is a Polish rower. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, she competed in the women's quadruple sculls. She won bronze medal in quadruple sculls at the 2016 Summer Olympics, with Maria Springwald, Agnieszka Kobus and Monika Ciaciuch. That was also the team that won silver at the 2016 European Championships and bronze at the 2015 European Championships on home water in Poznan.
Martino Goretti is an Italian representative lightweight rower, a current (2019) world champion and a dual Olympian. He has represented at senior World Rowing Championships and World Rowing Cups consistently from 2005 to 2019. He is a four time world champion at the senior level who won three titles in Italian lightweight eights from 2005 to 2009 and then in 2019 won the lightweight single scull world title. He had previously won underage world championships as a junior and an U23.

Women's rowing is the participation of women in the sport of rowing. Women row in all boat classes, from single scull to coxed eights, across the same age ranges and standards as men, from junior amateur through university-level to elite athlete. Typically men and women compete in separate crews although mixed crews and mixed team events also take place. Coaching for women is similar to that for men.
Agnieszka Kobus-Zawojska is a Polish national representative rower, an Olympian and a world champion. She is the reigning world champion in the women's quad scull winning her title at the 2018 World Rowing Championships in Plovdiv. She competed in the women's quadruple sculls event at the 2016 Summer Olympics, where she won a bronze medal.
Poland is expected to compete at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Originally scheduled to take place from 24 July to 9 August 2020, the Games have been postponed to 23 July to 8 August 2021, because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Since the nation's official debut in 1924, Polish athletes have appeared in every edition of the Summer Olympic Games, with the exception of the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, because of the Soviet boycott.
