Ahascragh-Fohenagh GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in the two parishes of Fohenagh and Ahascragh, in east County Galway, Ireland. As of 2017, the club competes in the Galway Senior Hurling Championship, having gained Senior status for the first time in 2016.
The joined club was initially formed at underage level in 1998 with the amalgamation of the neighbouring clubs of Fohenagh & Ahascragh and achieved success at U14, U15, and minor grades. The club joined at adult level in 2002. [1]

Annaghdown GAC is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in County Galway, Ireland. The club is a member of the Galway GAA and was founded in 1887. Underage teams in both hurling and football play in the Galway league and championships. Annaghdown are a dual club and cater for Gaelic football, hurling and Ladies football. There was a camogie club in the parish in times past when Corrandrum fielded a team, but the ladies of the parish now play camogie with Carnmore, Turloughmore or Castlegar clubs.
The Connacht Intermediate Club Hurling Championship is an annual club competition in Connacht. Prior to 2008, county champions competed in the senior grade, but since then the senior champions from Mayo and Roscommon compete at intermediate level along with the Galway intermediate champions, who receive a bye to the final. The winners go on to compete for the All-Ireland Intermediate Club Hurling Championship.
Waterford Intermediate Hurling Championship is a second-tier hurling competition organised by the Waterford Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association. The winning club progresses to the senior grade the following year for the Waterford Senior Hurling Championship. The winning club also represents Waterford GAA in the Munster Intermediate Club Hurling Championship. Each of the two divisions of Waterford GAA - East Division and West Division - organises its own competition, with the two winners contesting the county final.
Fergal Healy is an Irish former hurler and manager. At club level he played with Craughwell, and also lined out at inter-county level with various Galway teams.

Moycullen GAA is a group title for several Gaelic Athletic Association clubs based in Moycullen, County Galway. The three clubs, Cumann Peile Mhaigh Cuilinn, Cumann Iománaíocht Maigh Cuilinn and Cumann Camógaíocht Mhaigh Cuilinn share playing facilities and cooperate on a number of the local community and sporting issues. The clubs are members of the Galway GAA. There are two other clubs in the parish with indirect GAA affiliations, Moycullen Ladies Football Club and Moycullen Handball Club, who also share the club facilities.
Kinvara GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in the town of Kinvara in County Galway, Ireland. The club is almost exclusively concerned with hurling but also plays Gaelic Football at Junior level.
Seán Treacy is an Irish hurling coach and former player. At club level he played with Portumna, while he also lined out at inter-county level with various Galway teams. Treacy is the current coach of the Clare senior hurling team.
Pádraig Pearse's GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in the Ballymacward-Gurteen parish in County Galway, Ireland. The club was founded in 1966, when the Gurteen and Ballymacward Junior Hurling clubs merged. Hurling is the dominant sport in the club, but the club also fields football teams. There has always been a strong tradition of hurling in the parish, with one of the earliest recordings in local press dated to 1882.
