Sylane GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in Sylaun, County Galway, Ireland. The club is primarily concerned with the game of hurling.
Located in the townland of Sylaun, just outside Tuam, County Galway, Sylane GAA Club was founded in 1984. The club has spent most of its existence operating in the junior grade, however, as of 2017, Sylane compete in the Galway IHC. [1] [2] The club has won Connacht JCHC titles in 2007, 2015 and 2017. [3] [4] A sister camogie club was established in 2008.

There was a camogie club in the parish in times past when Corrandrum fielded a team, but the ladies of the parish now play camogie with Carnmore, Turloughmore or Castlegar clubs.
The Connacht Junior Club Hurling Championship is a hurling competition that comprises the winners of the senior hurling competitions from Sligo and Leitrim along with the Galway champions who receive a bye to the final. The winners of this competition qualify for the All-Ireland Junior Club Hurling Championship.

Moycullen GAA is a group title for several Gaelic Athletic Association clubs based in Moycullen, County Galway. The three clubs, Cumann Peile Mhaigh Cuilinn, Cumann Iománaíocht Maigh Cuilinn and Cumann Camógaíocht Mhaigh Cuilinn share playing facilities and cooperate on a number of the local community and sporting issues. The clubs are members of the Galway GAA. In men's competitions, the club is a dual club competing in both Gaelic football and hurling at various age levels. Calry-St Joseph's is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Calry and the northern ward of Sligo, Éire. The club was formerly known as Calry Gaels until it became Calry-St Joseph's in 1987 after a re-organisation of the GAA structures in the Sligo urban area. They have won the last 7 Sligo Senior Hurling Championships and played in 12 of the last 13 finals, winning in 2005 until 2009 and again from 2011 to 2017. In 2009 they won the Connacht Junior Club Hurling Championship beating Galway side Skehana 1-09 to 0-10 in the final having lost to them the year before and they repeated that feat again in 2012 by beating the same opposition from before, Skehana. They followed up that victory with a double double by winning both Provincial and County Championships in 2013. The club's most recent victory in the Connacht Junior Hurling Championship came in 2016. Reduced to 13 men, with two players sent off, they clawed back a deficit of 5 points to tie the match and go on to beat Micheál Breathnach of the Galway Gaeltacht in extra-time, 3-9 to 2-10. They won the Sligo Intermediate Football Championship in 2004 & 2014 and came Runners Up in 1988, 1990 & 2013 and won Sligo Junior Football Championship in 1976 & 1987 and were Runners Up in 1983 & 1984.

Pádraig Pearse's GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in the Ballymacward-Gurteen parish in County Galway, Ireland. The club was founded in 1966, when the Gurteen and Ballymacward Junior Hurling clubs merged. Hurling is the dominant sport in the club, but the club also fields football teams. There has always been a strong tradition of hurling in the parish, with one of the earliest recordings in local press dated to 1882. The first club in the parish was officially affiliated to the G.A.A. in 1886.

It is one of the four provincial competitions of the 2020 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship. The winning team (Mayo) received the J. J. Nestor Cup, named after J. J. Nestor of Quinaltagh, County Galway.
