The Democratic Party is a centre to centre-right nationalist political party in Indonesia. Currently,it holds 44 seats in the House of Representatives (DPR). It is led by Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY),the son of Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY),who served as the President of Indonesia from 2004 to 2014.

He was previously the 26th minister of defense under president Joko Widodo from 2019 to 2024. Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno is an Indonesian businessman,investor and politician who served as Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy from 2020 to 2024. He was the governor of Jakarta,in office between 15 June and 15 October 2017 after being acting governor since 9 May. He replaced his predecessor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama when the latter was found guilty of blasphemy against Islam. He was appointed by Basuki as Deputy Governor in 2014 to fill the gap left by the election of Joko Widodo as president.
The Change Indonesia Guardian Party,better known as the Garuda Party,is a political party in Indonesia that contested the 2019 general election. The party has been linked to the family of former president Suharto. Officials have denied the party is linked to the Suharto family or to former general Prabowo Subianto's Gerindra Party.
