Canary Islands Now (Spanish: Ahora Canarias) is a left-wing and Canarian separatist electoral alliance founded in February 2019 in order to compete in the 2019 Spanish general election and the Canarian regional election of that same year. The alliance is formed by three parties: Canarian Nationalist Alternative (Spanish: Alternativa Nacionalista Canaria, ANC), National Congress of the Canaries (Spanish: Congreso Nacional de las Canarias; CNC) and the Unity of the People (Spanish: Unidad del Pueblo, UP). [1]

The parties involved in Ahora Canarias are also part of the Ahora Repúblicas alliance formed for the 2019 European Parliament election. Ahora Repúblicas is formed from progressive, left-wing nationalist and independentist parties from Catalonia, the Basque Country, Galicia, Asturias, Aragon and the Canary Islands. [2]

In the 2023 Canarian regional election and the 2023 general election Ahora Canarias is forming an alliance with the Communist Party of the Canarian Peoples. [3]

Republics Now is an electoral alliance formed for the 2019 European Parliament election in Spain by Republican Left of Catalonia (ERC), Basque Country Gather and Galician Nationalist Bloc (BNG) and with Oriol Junqueras as its leading candidate. The second list candidate was Diana Riba. The following candidates on the list were shared between EH Bildu, BNG and ERC. Moreover, Andecha Astur, Puyalón de Cuchas, Canarian Nationalist Alternative, National Congress of the Canaries and Unity of the People also participated in the candidature. The Agreement of Nationalist Unity, frequently known under the name of its constituent parties, Canarian Coalition–Canarian Nationalist Party, was a permanent Canarian nationalist alliance formed by Canarian Coalition (CC) and Canarian Nationalist Party (PNC) in 2006 ahead of the 2007 Canarian regional election. The alliance has been renewed several times, in 2011, 2013 and 2018. For the 2011 and November 2019 general elections it was joined by New Canaries (NC). The alliance was dissolved in 2023, with the PNC arguing that the CC had now « nothing of nationalist »

Drago Project is a political party of the Canary Islands created by former Podemos secretary Alberto Rodríguez Rodríguez on 24 October 2022. The party plans to run for the regional elections in Spain in 2023.
