Aileen Patricia Mills 1962 is a female former track and field athlete who competed for England in the 400 metres hurdles. [1]

The name is derived from where the sport takes place, a running track and a grass field for the throwing and some of the jumping events. Track and field is categorized under the umbrella sport of athletics, which also includes road running, cross country running, and racewalking.

Athletics career

Mills became the British champion in 1985 when she won 1985 UK Athletics Championships.

The 1985 UK Athletics Championships was the national championship in outdoor track and field for the United Kingdom held at Antrim Stadium, Antrim. It was the second time that a national track and field championship was held in Northern Ireland, after hosting the 1981 event.

Mills represented England in the 400 metres hurdles event, at the 1986 Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh, Scotland. [2] [3] [4]
