Ajay was born and brought up in Vijayawada. His family later moved to Hyderabad. [3] Ajay married Swetha Ravuri in 2005 who entered the Mrs India Worldwide finals in 2017. The couple has two children. [4]

The film is the remake of 2019 Kannada film Birbal Trilogy Case 1: Finding Vajramuni, which itself is based on the 2017 Korean film New Trial. The music is composed by Sricharan Pakala. The film is named after Mahamanthri Timmarusu of the Vijayanagara Empire. The film was released on 30 July 2021.
Varisu ( transl. Heir) is a 2023 Indian Tamil-language action drama film directed by Vamshi Paidipally, who co-wrote the film with Hari, Ashishor Solomon and Vivek Velmurugan.
