Personal life

Ajay was born and brought up in Vijayawada. His family later moved to Hyderabad. [3] Ajay married Swetha Ravuri in 2005 who entered the Mrs India Worldwide finals in 2017. The couple has two children. [4]

Thimmarusu: Assignment Valli is a 2021 Indian Telugu-language crime thriller film directed by Sharan Koppisetty and produced by Mahesh S. Koneru and Yarabolu Srujan under the production company East Coast Productions and S Originals. The film stars Satyadev, Priyanka Jawalkar and Ajay in lead roles. The film is the remake of 2019 Kannada film Birbal Trilogy Case 1: Finding Vajramuni, which itself is based on the 2017 Korean film New Trial. The music is composed by Sricharan Pakala. The film is named after Mahamanthri Timmarusu of the Vijayanagara Empire. The film was released on 30 July 2021.

Varisu ( transl. Heir) is a 2023 Indian Tamil-language action drama film directed by Vamshi Paidipally, who co-wrote the film with Hari, Ashishor Solomon and Vivek Velmurugan. Produced jointly by Dil Raju and Sirish under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations and PVP Cinema. The film stars an ensemble cast of Vijay, Rashmika Mandanna, R. Sarathkumar, Srikanth, Shaam, Prabhu, Prakash Raj, Jayasudha, Sangeetha, Samyuktha Shanmughanadhan, Nandini Rai, Yogi Babu, Ganesh Venkatraman, S. J. Suryah and Suman. It focuses on an entrepreneur's youngest son being named the chairman of his father's business, much to the dismay of his two brothers.
