Ajay Chakraborty (born 8 December 1943) was a member of the 14th Lok Sabha of India. He represented the Basirhat constituency of West Bengal and is a member of the Communist Party of India (CPI) political party. He had won the Basirhat seat five times in a row. He faced a humiliating defeat in the 2009 Lok Sabha election when he lost the Basirhat seat to Trinamool Congress candidate Sk. Nurul Islam.

Arvind Kumar Sharma is an Indian dental surgeon, politician who currently represents the Gohana Assembly constituency in the Haryana Legislative Assembly. He was also a Member of Parliament in the 17th Lok Sabha from Rohtak. He represented the Karnal constituency of Haryana in 15th Lok Sabha and was a member of the Indian National Congress but he joined Bharatiya Janata Party in 2019.

Joachim Baxla was a member of the 14th Lok Sabha of India. He represented the Alipurduars constituency of West Bengal and was a member of the Revolutionary Socialist Party (RSP) political party. He won the Alipurduars seat four times in a row. Baxla was denied a ticket by RSP to contest the 15th Lok Sabha. In protest, he resigned from the RSP and contested the Alipurduar constituency as an independent and lost badly. RSP candidate Manohar Tirkey won the seat. He was relegated to the fourth position. He then joined the Trinamool Congress contesting the 2011 West Bengal Assembly election from the Kumargram, and again lost the election to his RSP rival Dasrath Tirkey.
