Al-Fatat Sporting Club Founded in 1975 where a club only dictated to Females, it began playing all kinds of different sports along the Years but officially joined Kuwaiti Women's League in 2017 as an official club, competing in other sports as well.

Al-Yarmouk is a Kuwaiti professional sports club located in the district of Mishref. It was established on 28 February 1965 in Failaka Island and was the only Kuwaiti club to have been established outside mainland Kuwait at that time. The club was relocated to Kuwait after the 1990–1991 Gulf War, which resulted in the displacement of many inhabitants belonging to Failaka's island settlements. Therefore, due to inadequate facilities after the liberation of Kuwait, it was inevitable that the team had to move to a better and more sustainable location. Other reason for the relocation was due to insufficient means of transportation to Failaka Island for away matches during the regular season.

The 2009 AFC Cup Final was a football match played on Tuesday, 3 November 2009 between Al-Kuwait and Al-Karamah. It was the 6th final of the AFC Cup and was the first time the final match to be played in a one-off format. The game was played at Al Kuwait Sports Club Stadium, being the home ground of Al-Kuwait. Al-Kuwait won the title by winning over Al-Karamah 2-1.
The Lebanon women's national football team is the official women's national football team of the country of Lebanon. The team was established in 2005, and is controlled by the Lebanon Football Association (LFA), the governing body for football in Lebanon. The Kuwait Handball Association (KHA) is the administrative and controlling body for handball and beach handball in State of Kuwait. KHA is a founder member of the Asian Handball Federation (AHF) and member of the International Handball Federation (IHF) since 1970. Handball in Kuwait was founded by Sheikh Fahad Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, who is a member of House of Sabah, the ruling family of Kuwait. He was also the first President of KHA.
