The following are lists of stadiums throughout the world. Note that horse racing and motorsport venues are not included at some pages, because those are not stadiums but sports venues.
The Kuwait national football team is the national team of Kuwait and is controlled by the Kuwait Football Association. Kuwait made one World Cup finals appearance, in 1982, managing one point in the group stages. In the Asian Cup, Kuwait reached the final in 1976 and won the tournament in 1980.
The 1980 AFC Asian Cup was the 7th edition of the men's AFC Asian Cup, a quadrennial international football tournament organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). The finals were hosted by Kuwait between 15 and 30 September 1980. The field of ten teams was split into two groups of five each. Kuwait won their first championship, beating South Korea in the final 3–0.
Al-Shaab International Stadium is an all-seater multi-purpose stadium in Baghdad, Iraq. The 35,700-seater was the home stadium of the Iraq national football team, as well as the largest stadium in Iraq, from its opening on 6 November 1966 until the Basra International Stadium was opened in 2013. It is owned by the government of Iraq.
Franso Hariri Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq. It is currently used mostly for football matches by Erbil SC who plays in the Iraqi Premier League. The stadium also has facilities for athletics. The stadium has a capacity of 25,000. It was built on an old airfield in 1956 and was redeveloped in 1992. The stadium was home to the old Brusk club and was named Erbil Stadium until 2001. It was renamed the Martyr Franso Hariri Stadium in honor of the assassinated Christian governor Franso Hariri, who supported efforts to renovate the stadium.

The second largest stadium in Kuwait, it can accommodate 21,500 spectators. The stadium has hosted many finals for the Kuwait Emir Cup and Kuwait Crown Cup. In addition, 2 Gulf Cup Tournaments were held in this Stadium, the first taking place in 1990 where Kuwait won the 10th Gulf Cup trophy, and the second in 2003, where they finished 6th. WWE also hosted its Kuwait International Tournament at the stadium in 1997.
The Kuwait National Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Kuwait City, Kuwait. It is used mostly for football matches. The stadium has a seating capacity of 16,000 people. It was the home ground of the Kuwait national football team.
Jaber al-Ahmad International Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in the Ardhiyah area of Kuwait City, Kuwait. Completed in 2009, it is used mostly for football matches and athletics. The stadium has a capacity of 60,000 seated spectators, the building is constructed in 4 levels, with 54 corporate boxes and a parking lot with a 6,001-car capacity. It was expected to open in the second quarter of 2010, but the building failed structural-integrity testing and remained closed for nearly half a decade due to a miscalculation by structural engineers. It was finally opened on 18 December 2015. Jaber Al-Ahmad stadium is currently the new home of the Kuwait national football team.

It is the first Kuwaiti club to ever win an Asian title, winning the 2009 AFC Cup, 2012 AFC Cup and 2013 AFC Cup.
Sabah al-Salem Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Kuwait City, Kuwait. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Al Arabi Kuwait. The stadium holds 15,000 people and had hosted many matches of the 1980 AFC Asian Cup, including the final.

The stadium holds 12,350. This stadium had also hosted Kuwait's national team matches during the 2010 FIFA World Cup qualification. The stadium has hosted the final matches of the Kuwait Emir Cup and Kuwait Crown Cup for the last 5 seasons. This stadium also hosted matches for the national team during the 3rd Arabian Gulf Cup, where Kuwait won their third title after winning 4–0 against Saudi Arabia.
Ali Al-Salem Al-Sabah Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Al Farwaniyah, Kuwait. It is currently used mostly for football matches, on club level by Al Naser Sporting Club of the Kuwaiti Premier League. The stadium has a capacity of 10,000 spectators.
The Al-Shabab Mubarak al-Aiar Stadium is a multiuse stadium in Jahra, Kuwait. It is used mostly for football matches, on club level by Al Jahra of the Kuwaiti Premier League. The stadium has a capacity of 17,000 spectators.
The 2012 WAFF Championship was the 7th WAFF Championship, an international tournament for member nations of the West Asian Football Federation. It was hosted by Kuwait from 8 to 20 December 2012. The defending champions were Kuwait. However, they did not get past the group stage. The tournament was won by Syria for the first time.
The 2013 UAFA Club Cup Final was a football match which was played on 24 April and 14 May 2013. It was the 1st final of the UAFA Club Cup and the 26th of the Arab World's inter-club football tournament. The final was played as home and away matches, and it was contested between Al-Arabi SC of Kuwait and USM Alger of Algeria.
