Ittihad has won 50 championships from which 35 are official championships.

The 1992 King Fahd Cup, named after Fahd of Saudi Arabia, was the first association football tournament of the competition that would later be known as the FIFA Confederations Cup. It was hosted by Saudi Arabia in October 1992, and was won by Argentina, who beat the hosts Saudi Arabia 3–1 in the final. The 1992 tournament was the only one not to feature a group stage and only featured four nations.

The national federation was created in 1956 and became a FIFA affiliate in 1956. However women's football is not included in the country's FIFA coordinated Goals! project. By 2011, inside the Saudi Arabia Football Federation, there has been an effort to create women's football programs at universities. Input had been sought on how to do this from other national federations including ones from the United States, Germany, Brazil and the United Kingdom.

Sdoos Club is a Saudi Arabian football (soccer) team in Sdoos city playing at the Saudi Fourth Division.

The 2034 FIFA World Cup will be the 25th FIFA World Cup, a quadrennial international football tournament contested by the men's national teams of the member associations of FIFA. In December 2024, Saudi Arabia was formally confirmed as the host nation by FIFA following an uncontested bidding process. It will be the third tournament hosted in Asia, after Korea and Japan in 2002 and Qatar in 2022. Saudi Arabia will be the second host nation from the Arabian Peninsula in the space of twelve years.

King Saud University Stadium (KSUS), known as Al-Awwal Park due to sponsorship reasons, is an association football stadium located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In September 2020, Saudi Media Company (SMC) obtained the management rights for operating the stadium. In October 2020, SMC signed a deal with Al Nassr FC for the Al-Awwal Park to become their home stadium. The stadium has a current capacity of 25,000.

The bidding process for the 2027 AFC Asian Cup was the process by which the location for the 2027 AFC Asian Cup was chosen as the hosts. Saudi Arabia was selected as the host country.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2021 Saudi Super Cup</span> Football match

The 2021 Saudi Super Cup was the 8th edition of the Saudi Super Cup, an annual football match played between the winners of the previous season's Saudi Pro League and King's Cup. It was played on 6 January 2022 at the Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium, Riyadh, between Al Hilal and Al Faisaly.
