The Saudi Fourth Division League (FDL), is a football league, the fifth tier of the Saudi Arabian football league system. The competition starts in each Provinces of Saudi Arabia, a total of 74 teams compete to decide the 32 places in the final stage.

History

The Football Association Board of Directors created a new league called the Saudi Third Division League, consisting of 32 teams, and divided into four regional groups, starting from the 2021–22 season. Finally, at the level of local competitions affiliated with the Saudi Football Association, the federation announced the change of the third division to the fourth division league. [1]

The Saudi Second Division, also known as the Second Division League (SDL), is a football league that is the third tier of the Saudi Arabian football league system. The league consists of 32 teams divided into two groups.

The national federation was created in 1956 and became a FIFA affiliate in 1956. However women's football is not included in the country's FIFA coordinated Goals! project. By 2011, inside the Saudi Arabia Football Federation, there has been an effort to create women's football programs at universities. Input had been sought on how to do this from other national federations including ones from the United States, Germany, Brazil and the United Kingdom.

The 2013–14 Saudi Crown Prince Cup was the 39th season of the Saudi Crown Prince Cup since its establishment in 1957. This season's competition featured a total of 30 teams, 14 teams from the Pro League, and 16 teams from the First Division. For the first time, the Crown Prince Cup tournament was contested by 30 teams, having been expanded from the 16-team format used since 1991. Under the new format, last season's finalists received a bye to the Round of 16 while the remaining 28 teams entered at the preliminary stage.
