The Saudi Fourth Division is a football league, the fifth tier of the Saudi Arabian football league system. The competition starts in each Regions of Saudi Arabia, a total of 74 teams compete to decide the 32 places in the final stage. It is supervised by Saudi Arabia Football Federation. [1]

Since 2010, the winner, runner-up, third and fourth placed in each season are promoted to the Saudi Second Division League. [2]

Change the name of the competition

The Football Association Board of Directors created a new league called the Third Division League, consisting of 32 teams, and divided into four regional groups, starting from the next season 2021–2022. Finally, at the level of local competitions affiliated with the Saudi Football Association, the federation announced the change of the third division to the fourth division league. [3]

Fixtures were released on 5 August 2019 and the opening round of matches was played on 11 October 2019. UAE Second Division League is the third tier of football league competition in the United Arab Emirates, the league is organised by UAE Football Association for private funded clubs and universities with amateur teams. The league was established in 2019. The league featured 10 teams who played each other twice in its first season however, due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the United Arab Emirates, the UAE footballing season was cancelled and declared a void and all results were null. The UAE FA set a strategy to support featuring more privately owned clubs and football academies in the UAE Football Pyramid. Ahead of the 2022–23 season, the UAE FA confirmed that the format of league will remain as 12 teams, with the introduction of the UAE Third Division League with a promotion-relegation system.

The 2020–21 Saudi Second Division was the 45th season of the Saudi Second Division since its establishment in 1976. The season started on 30 October 2020 as a consequence of the postponement of the previous season's conclusion due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The group stage draw was held on 22 September 2020. The final was played on 19 April 2021 between Al-Akhdoud and Al-Orobah. Al-Akhdoud defeated Al-Orobah 4–2 on penalties to win their second title and first since 1992.

The Lebanese Second Division is the second division of Lebanese football. It is controlled by the Lebanese Football Association. The top two teams qualify for the Lebanese Premier League and replace the relegated teams, while the bottom two are relegated to the Lebanese Third Division. The league was initially scheduled to start in September, before being postponed to 2 October as part of preventive measures by the state towards the COVID-19 pandemic.

The club was founded in 1984 and its current president is Fahad Al-Mohaimeed. Al-Saqer won their first promotion to the Saudi Second Division during the 2020–21 season after reaching the semi-finals of the Saudi Third Division. They were crowned champions of the 2020–21 Third Division after defeating Al-Nairyah 5–3 on penalties. The club also consists of various other departments including, basketball, table tennis, handball and volleyball.

The 2021–22 Saudi Third Division was the inaugural season of the Saudi Third Division, the newly introduced fourth tier of Saudi football. The season started on 28 October 2021 and concluded with the final on 19 March 2022. The group stage draw was held on 7 June 2021. The league was made up of 32 teams, 4 relegated teams from the 2020–21 Saudi Second Division and the 28 teams that qualified for the Round of 32 of the 2020–21 Saudi Third Division.

UAE Third Division League is the fourth tier of football league competition in the United Arab Emirates, the league is organised by UAE Football Association for private funded clubs. The league was established for the 2021–22 season. 12 teams participated in the first edition, divided in two groups of six. On 6 July 2022, UAEFA announced that the number of participants will increase from 12 to 16 teams for the 2022–23 season, an increase of 4 teams from the 2021–22 season.

Qilwah Club is a Saudi Arabian football club based in Qilwah, Al-Bahah and competes in the Saudi Second Division, the third tier of Saudi football. The club also consists of various other departments including volleyball, weightlifting and table tennis.

The 2022–23 Saudi Third Division was the second season of the Saudi Third Division since its inception in 2021. The season started on 3 November 2022 and concluded with the final on 10 March 2023. The group stage draw was held on 8 June 2022.

The 2023–24 Saudi Third Division is the third season of the Saudi Third Division since its inception in 2021. The season is scheduled to start on 3 November 2023 and conclude with the final on 23 March 2024. The group stage draw was held on 29 May 2023.

Mudhar Club is a Saudi Arabian football club based in Al-Qudaih, Qatif, Eastern Province and competes in the Saudi Second Division, the third tier of Saudi football. The club was founded in 1970 and consists of various other departments including table tennis, volleyball, and basketball. Mudhar is also known for their handball division which is one of the most successful handball clubs in Saudi Arabia.
