The Bangalore Football League is organised by the Bangalore District Football Association (BDFA), [4] which is affiliated to the Karnataka State Football Association (KSFA) as a ladder-based state football competition involving a total of four divisions and over 130 teams in the Indian state of Karnataka. Bangalore Super Division is the top-division, started in 2001. [3] The winner is awarded George Hoover trophy. Prior to 2001, the Bangalore A Division was the top tier, which currently act as 2nd tier of the state leagues ladder. [5] [6]

Bangalore Super Division

Bangalore Super Division is the top state-level football league in the Indian state of Karnataka, started in 2001. [3] The winner is awarded George Hoover Cup. Prior to 2001, the Bangalore A Division was the top tier. [5] [6]

Bangalore A Division

Bangalore A Division is the third tier football league in the Indian state of Karnataka. Prior to 2001, it was the top-tier league. [9] The league has 10–12 teams contesting and the top two teams gain promotion to the Bangalore Super Division. [2] [10]

Ozone emerged the champions and Income Tax and SAI were relegated to A division.

The season started on 10 November 2017. Madras Engineering Group (MEG) were the defending champions. Bangalore Independents and Jawahar Union were promoted from 'A' Division, whereas a new team FC Deccan was a direct entry team. AGORC and DYES teams were relegated to 'A' Division. Bengaluru FC fielded their newly launched reserve team, Bengaluru FC 'B'. All games were played at Bangalore Football Stadium.

The 2018–19 Bangalore Super Division was the sixteenth season of the Bangalore Super Division which is the third tier of the Indian association football system and the top tier of the Karnataka football system. The season started on 21 October 2018. Ozone F.C. were the defending champions. The league was contested by top 9 teams from 2017–18 season as well as ADE and Bangalore Eagles who were promoted from 2017–18 Bangalore 'A' division. They replaced Jawahar Union and CIL who were relegated to 2019–20 Bangalore 'A' Division. Kickstart FC, Bengaluru United and Bangalore Dream United were direct entry teams, thus bringing total number of teams to 14.

The 2019–20 Bangalore Super Division was the seventeenth season of the Bangalore Super Division which is the third tier of the Indian association football system and the top tier of the Karnataka football system. The season started on 2 November 2019. Bengaluru FC 'B' were the defending champions. All games were played at Bangalore Football Stadium. The league was contested by top 12 teams from 2018 to 2019 season as well as Income Tax and AGORC who were promoted from 2018 to 2019 Bangalore 'A' division. They replaced Jawahar Union and CIL who were relegated to 2019–20 Bangalore 'A' Division.

The Karnataka Women's League, also referred to as the Karnataka Women's Super Division League, is the top division of women's football league in the Indian State of Karnataka. The League is organised by the Karnataka State Football Association (KSFA), the official football governing body of the State.

The 2008–09 Bangalore Super Division was the eighth season of the Bangalore Super Division, the third tier of the Indian football system and the top tier of the Karnataka football system. It began on 19 February 2009 and concluded on 9 May.

The league was contested by top 12 teams from 2019–20 season as well as Young Challengers and FC Deccan who were promoted from 2019–20 Bangalore 'A' division. AGORC were relegated to 2020–21 Bangalore A Division.

The 2021–22 Bangalore Super Division was the 19th season of the Bangalore Super Division, the fourth tier league in Indian football system, and Karnataka's top-tier football league. Bengaluru United were the defending champions.

The 2022–23 Bangalore Super Division was the 20th season of the Bangalore Super Division, the fourth tier league in India, and Karnataka's top-tier football league. Bengaluru United were the defending champions.

Sporting Club Bengaluru is an Indian professional football club based in Bangalore, Karnataka. The club currently competes in the I-League 2, the third tier of the Indian football league system and the Bangalore Football League.

The 2023–24 Bangalore Super Division was the 21st season of the Bangalore Super Division, the fifth tier league in Indian football system, and Karnataka's top-tier football league. Bengaluru FC 'B' were crowned champions on 17 November 2023. They won title without losing a game and this was their third title.
