The Real Kabaddi League, also known as (RKL) is a franchise-based professional Kabaddi league in India. League was founded by Shubham Choudhary, [3] [4] and its co-founders are Lavish Choudhary and Rannvijay Singha. [5] [6] And the current champion is Jaipur Jaguars. [7] [8]

Background

Real Kabaddi League was initially established as the Rajasthan Kabaddi League [9] before undergoing a rebranding process to become the Real Kabaddi League. [10]

Real Kabaddi League has successfully cultivated local support and engaged communities in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities across India. The league's commitment to fostering a sense of pride and ownership within local communities has been instrumental in establishing Real Kabaddi League as more than just a sporting event. [4]

Raju Lal Choudhary is an Indian international kabaddi player who played for Jaipur Pink Panthers in Pro Kabaddi League seasons 1–3 and for Bengaluru Bulls in season 6 and 7. He was also a part of the India national kabaddi team at the 2018 Kabaddi Masters Dubai and 2018 Asian Games.

Akash Santosh Shinde is an Indian professional Kabaddi player who plays in the Pro Kabaddi League. He plays as a left raider for Puneri Paltan in PKL. He is selected for the Indian team for the 2022 Asian Games.

NaMo kabaddi was a programme organised by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s Kisan Morcha in November and December 2023 to play kabaddi matches across India. Only those between 18 and 40 years of age were allowed to participate.

Ankush also ankush rathee is an Indian professional Kabaddi player who plays as a defender in the Pro Kabaddi League for Jaipur Pink Panthers. He was the best defender in the Pro Kabaddi League Season-9. He was part of the Indian team that won the gold medal at the 2023 2nd Junior World Kabaddi Championship, Urmia (Iran).

Uttar Pradesh Kabaddi League(UPKL) is an Indian professional Kabaddi League. It was founded by Sambhav Jain in 2024. The first season is organised with the cooperation of UP Kabaddi Association.

Narender Kandola is an Indian professional kabaddi player who plays as Raider in Pro Kabaddi League for Tamil Thalaivas. He was part of the Indian team that won the gold medal at the 2023 2nd Junior World Kabaddi Championship, Urmia (Iran).
