Al Jafree Md Yusop is a Malaysian writer and director of TV and feature films.
Al Jafree Md Yusop (b. 1966) studied in MARA Junior Science College Kuala Terengganu in 1979, before furthering his studies at UiTM in Arau, Perlis to secure a Diploma in Planting, Industry and Management. [1] After a decade with International Islamic University Malaysia as an accountant and IT manager, [1] he left full-time employment and began a 3-year period he refers to as "Proses Malas" (Malay for "lazy process") where he spent time watching films, reading and travelling. Vedigundu Pasangge is a 2018 Tamil language comedy-drama film from Malaysia. It was the final instalment of Pasangge trilogy film series after Vilayaatu Pasange (2011), and Vetti Pasanga (2014). Krishen Jit a/l Amar Singh was a Malaysian author, playwright and theatre director and critic remembered as a Malaysian theatre icon. He was a co-founder of Five Arts Center with his wife, Marion D’ Cruz and other artists including Chin San Sooi and Redza Piyadasa in 1984. Jit also worked as the acting coach for the 2004 film Puteri Gunung Ledang directed by Saw Teong Hin starring M. Nasir and Tiara Jacquelina. He died on 28 April 2005 at the University Malaya Medical Centre (PPUM) at the age of 65 after a long battle with stroke.
