Durham County Cricket Club is one of eighteen first-class county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. It represents the historic county of Durham. Founded in 1882,Durham held minor status for over a century and was a prominent member of the Minor Counties Championship,winning the competition seven times. In 1992,the club joined the County Championship and the team was elevated to senior status as an official first-class team. Durham has been classified as an occasional List A team from 1964,then as a full List A team from 1992;and as a senior Twenty20 team since the format's introduction in 2003.

It has also been representative of the county of Rutland. The club's limited overs team is called the Leicestershire Foxes. Founded in 1879,the club had minor county status until 1894,when it was promoted to first-class status pending its entry into the County Championship in 1895. Since then,Leicestershire have played in every top-level domestic cricket competition in England.

Hampshire teams formed by earlier organisations,principally the Hambledon Club,always had first-class status and the same applied to the county club when it was founded in 1863. Because of poor performances for several seasons until 1885,Hampshire then lost its status for nine seasons until it was invited into the County Championship in 1895,since when the team have played in every top-level domestic cricket competition in England. Hampshire originally played at the Antelope Ground,Southampton until 1885 when they relocated to the County Ground,Southampton until 2000,before moving to the purpose-built Rose Bowl in West End,which is in the Borough of Eastleigh on the north east outskirts of Southampton. The club has twice won the County Championship,in the 1961 and 1973 seasons.

He became only the second cricketer after Dennis Amiss to score a century on ODI debut for England and ninth player overall to do so. Lumb was a member of the England team that won the 2010 ICC World Twenty20.
Graham Richard Napier is an English former cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium pace bowler. Napier played first-class cricket for his home county of Essex since the outset of his senior career in 1997. Between 1997 and 1999 Napier played in four Youth Test matches in England against Zimbabwe,South Africa (twice) and Australia's respective under-19 teams. He was also a member of the 1998 Under-19 Cricket World Cup winning squad. Napier was on the books of Ipswich Town as a goalkeeper and played for a season on loan at Felixstowe Town. He retired at the end of the 2016 season.

In 2008,he played for Leicestershire on loan because he was unable to break into Lancashire's first team. He is an all-rounder,bowling right-arm medium and batting left-handed. At the start of the 2009 season,Smith was promoted to open the batting,having previously batted in the lower order,and secured his place there. In 2011,the year Lancashire won the County Championship for the first time since 1950,Smith became the first Lancashire player to score a century and take four wickets in the same one-day match. In 2011/12 Smith played for the Matabeleland Tuskers in Zimbabwe as an overseas player in the domestic twenty20 competition.

In 2011,he became the youngest English spin bowler to take 100 first-class wickets since Derek Underwood. He made his full international debut for England on 21 February 2012 against Pakistan in the fourth One Day International at the DSC Cricket Stadium in Dubai.

Derbyshire County Cricket Club in 2010 was the cricket season when the English club Derbyshire had been playing for one hundred and thirty-nine years. They were in the second division in the County Championship,where they finished ninth. Two new competitions were introduced for the season. These were the Clydesdale Bank 40 and the Friends Provident t20. These replaced the Pro40 League,the Friends Provident Trophy and the Twenty20 competitions. Derbyshire was in Group B in the Clydesdale Bank 40 and in the North Group of the Friends Provident t20 but did not progress to the knockout stage in either competition.
