Alexander is a yacht which was built in 1965 in Lubecker Flender shipyard. It was later refurbished in Germany for use as yacht charter. The yacht was owned by the Latsis family until 2015. It's know owned by the royal family of Saudi Arabia [1] .

Design

The vessel is of steel construction with teak decks. The yacht's overall length is 121.83 meters (399 ft 8 in), [2] [lower-alpha 1] and her length at waterline is 104.6 m (343 ft 2 in). Her beam is 16.9 m (55 ft 5 in) and a draft of 5.8 m (19 ft 0 in). The yacht is measured at 5,933  gross tonnage  (GT). Alexander is powered by two MAN diesel engines each creating 4,025 horsepower (3,001  kW ). The vessel can reach a maximum speed of 18 knots (33 km/h; 21 mph) and has a cruising speed of 15–16 knots (28–30 km/h; 17–18 mph) and a maximum range of 4,722 nautical miles (8,745 km; 5,434 mi). The vessel has a crew of 60. [2] [3]

Accommodation

Alexander accommodates her guests in 39 staterooms, 18 of which are double rooms, 7 twin, and one master. The yacht also has a suite for the yacht-owner, which consists of a living room, a bedroom, and a spacious bathroom. The yacht has a meeting hall, a conference hall, a private cinema, a large living room, and a small restaurant. There are two outside bars and two jacuzzis. The yacht has a helicopter pad. [3]

Motor Yacht A is a superyacht designed by Philippe Starck and engineered by naval architect Martin Francis. It was built by the Blohm + Voss shipyard at the HDW deepwater facility in Kiel. It was ordered in November 2004, and delivered in 2008 at a rumoured cost of US$300 million. With a length of 119 metres (390 ft) and measuring almost 6,000 tonnes, it is one of the largest motor yachts in the world. Before 2022 she was connected with the Russian entrepreneur and industrialist Andrey Melnichenko, but, according to his representatives, he has no relation to it anymore, neither in terms of ownership, nor in any other way. The yacht has been laid up in the United Arab Emirates since 2022

<i>Azzam</i> (2013 yacht) Private superyacht

Azzam is a private superyacht built by German shipyard Lürssen Yachts. Azzam was launched on 5 April 2013. At 180 metres (590 ft) in length, she is the longest private motor yacht in the world. She has a beam of 20.8 metres (68 ft) and an unusually shallow draft of 4.3 m. The yacht was delivered on 9 September 2013.

Whisper, formerly known as Kismet, is a 95.2-metre -long superyacht which was built by Lürssen in 2014. It was managed by the Moran Yacht & Ship chartering business, and was owned by Pakistani-American billionaire Shahid Khan. In September 2023, the vessel was sold to Eric Schmidt and renamed Whisper.

Musashi is named after the Japanese samurai Miyamoto Musashi.

In March 2022, she was detained by Spain as property of Rosneft CEO Igor Sechin, who is sanctioned in connection with 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Lady Jorgia Yacht, manufactured in 2018 by Lürssen

Lady Jorgia is a 115.10 m (377.6 ft) superyacht built by Lürssen. Developed using the code name Project Enzo, it was launched at Lürssen's yard near Rendsburg in 2021 and delivered later that same year to Canadian-Jamaican billionaire Michael Lee-Chin under the name Ahpo. Ahpo was built as a replacement for Lee-Chin's previous yacht, Quattroelle, which he sold in 2014. Ahpo was listed for sale in February 2023. Three months later, in May 2023, it was sold for a rumoured €330 million, in what is "believed to be the biggest brokerage deal in history". Upon its sale, it was renamed Lady Jorgia. Her new owner is Canadian billionaire and former ice hockey goaltender Patrick Dovigi. Lady Jorgia made its first appearance after its sale at the 2023 Monaco Grand Prix.

The 68.20 m (223.8 ft) superyacht Ragnar was launched by ICON Yachts at their yard in Harlingen and delivered later that same year to Russian millionaire Vladimir Strzhalkovsky.

Luna B Yacht, manufactured in 2005 by Oceanco

The 66 m (217 ft) superyacht Luna B was launched by Oceanco at their yard in Alblasserdam. The yacht's exterior design was done by the yard itself and Alberto Pinto was responsible for the interior design. She is owned by American/Canadian billionaire Robert Friedland.
