Alexandra Russ (born 1 May 1970) is a German former swimmer. She competed in two events at the 1988 Summer Olympics representing West Germany. [1]
The 1920 Summer Olympics, officially known as the Games of the VII Olympiad and commonly known as Antwerp 1920, were an international multi-sport event held in 1920 in Antwerp, Belgium.
Russell W. "Russ" Howard, CM, ONL is a Canadian curler and Olympic champion, based in Regina, Saskatchewan, but originally from Midland, Ontario. He lived in Moncton, New Brunswick, from 2000 to 2019. Known for his gravelly voice, Howard has been to the Brier 14 times, winning the title twice. He is also a two-time world champion, winning in 1987 and 1993. He has also won three TSN Skins Games in 1991, 1992, and 1993, and participated in two Canadian Mixed Curling Championships in 2000 and 2001. He won gold at the 2006 Winter Olympics. He played in two Canadian Senior Curling Championships in 2008 and 2009 finishing with a silver medal both of those years. Russ Howard was inducted into the Ontario Sports Hall of Fame in 2011. He is currently a curling analyst and commentator for TSN’s Season of Champions curling coverage.
Bärbel Wöckel is a former East German sprinter. She never ran a world record in the individual disciplines. However, she ran several world records as part of relay teams with Doris Maletzki, Renate Stecher and Christina Heinich over 4 x 100 meters, the last time on September 8, 1974, in Rome. At the GDR Championships she took first place in the 4 x 100-meter relay in 1974, 1977, 1978, 1981 to 1984. In 1976 she won third place with the team.

Alexandra Wenk is a German swimmer who competes in the Women's 100 metre butterfly. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, she finished 21st overall in the heats in the Women's 100 metre butterfly and failed to reach the final. At the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, she finished in 21st place in the women's 100 m butterfly and did not qualify for the semifinals. She competed in the women's 200 m medley where she finished 11th in the semifinals and did not qualify for the final. She was also a member of the women's 4 × 100 m medley relay team which finished 12th in the heats and did not qualify for the final.
