Alexios Alexopoulos (born 21 May 1971) is a retired Greek sprinter who specialized in the 200 metres.

He won the silver medal at the 1996 European Indoor Championships. [1] He also competed at the 2000 Olympic Games and the World Championships in 1995, 1997 and 1999 without reaching the final. He also competed in the 1999 World Indoor Championships in Maebashi, Japan where he just missed the final.

His personal best time was 20.36 seconds, achieved in June 1999 in Paris. This ranks him fifth among Greek 200 metres sprinters, behind Konstantinos Kenteris, Anastasios Gousis, Thomas Sbokos & Lykourgos-Stefanos Tsakonas. [2]

In the 100 metres his personal best time is 10.16 seconds, achieved in June 1998 in Athens. This ranks him seventh among Greek 100 metres sprinters. [2] He still holds the National record for 200 metres indoor (since 1996) with 20.62 seconds. He also jointly holds the national record for the 4 × 100 metres relay.

Coby Miller is an American track and field athlete, who specialises in the sprint events. In his career, he recorded a sub-10 second personal best in the 100 meters and a sub-20 second best in the 200 meters. In the latter distance, he won the 1999 Summer Universiade and reached the 2000 Sydney Olympics final. He suffered leg injuries in the 2001 and 2002 seasons, but returned in late 2002 as part of the gold-medal-winning American 4 x 100 m relay team at the IAAF World Cup, breaking the championship record. He ran under ten seconds in the 100 m Olympics Trials in 2004, but failed to qualify for the event. He also holds bests of 10.17 seconds for the 100 metres and 6.69 seconds for the indoor 60 metres.

Douglas "Doug" Turner is a British former track and field sprinter who competed mainly in the 200 metres. He was the silver medallist at the 1998 European Athletics Championships. His personal best for the 200 m was 20.43 seconds, set in 1996. He also represented Great Britain at the 1999 World Championships in Athletics and Wales at the Commonwealth Games in 1998 and 2002.

Nethaneel Joseph Mitchell-Blake is a British sprinter who specialises in the 200 metres. He was the 2013 European Junior Champion and his personal best of 19.95 seconds ranks him as the second-fastest in Britain of all-time in the event. He is only the second Briton, after Adam Gemili to break both 10 seconds for 100 metres and 20 seconds for 200 metres. Part of the Great Britain 4 x 100-metre relay team that won the World title in 2017, he won his first major individual honour, a silver medal, in the individual 200 metres at the 2018 European Athletics Championships before claiming another relay title running for Great Britain, the eventual gold medalists, in the heats of the 4 x 100 metres.On 18 February 2022 it was announced that Nethaneel and his teammates CJ Ujah, Zharnel Hughes and Richard Kilty would be stripped of their 4 × 100 metres relay 2020 Summer Olympics silver medals after the Court of Arbitration for Sport found CJ Ujah guilty of a doping violation.
