Athletics

Abdellatif Baka won a gold medal for Algeria in the Men's 800m T13 event on September 6. [4] The next day, Lynda Hamri won a silver for Algeria in the Women's Long Jump F13 event. Lahouari Bahlaz also won a bronze in the Men's Discus F32/33/34 event. [4]

As a member of the national team, she has competed in the 2010 World Championships, 2011 IBSA Goalball World Cup and the 2011 African-Oceania regional Paralympic qualifying competition. Goalball in Cameroon is one of several sports available to people with vision impairments to participate in. It arrived late to the blind sports community in Cameroon, with torball arriving first. It has subsequently, been supported domestically by clubs such as Club for the Blind Youth of Cameroon (CJARC) and PROMHANDICAM Yaounde.

Algerian men's national goalball team is the men's national team of Algeria. Goalball is a team sport designed specifically for athletes with a vision impairment. The team takes part in international goalball competitions.
