Alice Freeman (born 6 September 1978 in Oxford) is a British rower.
Freeman studied at Durham University and St Edmund Hall, Oxford. [1] [2] She finished 5th in the women's eight at the 2008 Summer Olympics. [3] [4]
Sir Steven Geoffrey Redgrave is a British retired rower who won gold medals at five consecutive Olympic Games from 1984 to 2000. He has also won three Commonwealth Games gold medals and nine World Rowing Championships golds. He is the most successful male rower in Olympic history, and the only man to have won gold medals at five Olympic Games in an endurance sport.

Durham University Boat Club (DUBC) is the rowing club of Durham University. In recent years, DUBC has cemented itself as one of the strongest university boat clubs in Great Britain.
