Alienoid Starmonica was the first release for The Aliens, a band hailing from Fife, Scotland. It is an EP, released on 8 May 2006.
The Aliens formed from remnants of The Beta Band in 2005, reuniting Robin Jones and John Maclean with Gordon Anderson (aka Lone Pigeon). This, their first release, reworks some songs from earlier Lone Pigeon releases as well as including some new material.
The track "Robot Man" is also included in their debut studio album Astronomy for Dogs .
All tracks except "Hey Leanne" by Gordon Anderson and The Aliens.
The song "Hey Leanne" is wordplay on 'Alien'. The track is heavily psychedelic, phasing and using many strange noises and borrowing from other pieces, notably Music of the Crucifixion .
"Robot Man" is included on Astronomy for Dogs twice, once as it is and once in the form of "Rox", a slower, synth-laden version.
The Beta Band were a Scottish musical group formed in 1996. Their style was described as being "folktronica", although it was mainly a blend of folk, psychedelia, electronica, experimental rock and trip hop, often involving stylistic experimentation. Despite inner conflict and the eventual decline of the group, they became critically acclaimed after releasing their first few recordings and achieved a cult following as they began releasing studio albums, before disbanding in 2004. They were praised by members of both Radiohead and Oasis, the former of which chose them to open for their concerts in 2001. The band's music has been featured in multiple films, including High Fidelity and It's All Gone Pete Tong.
Minstrel in the Gallery is the eighth studio album by British rock band Jethro Tull, released in September 1975. The album sees the band going in a different direction from their previous work War Child (1974), returning to a blend of electric and acoustic songs, in a manner closer to their early 1970s albums such as Benefit (1970), Aqualung (1971) and Thick as a Brick (1972). Making use of a newly constructed mobile recording studio commissioned and constructed specifically for the band, the album was the first Jethro Tull album to be recorded outside of the UK, being recorded in tax exile in Monte Carlo, Monaco.

Lone Pigeon is the working name of Gordon Anderson, a Scottish musician and co-founder of The Beta Band. Later he was a member of The Aliens with John Maclean and Robin Jones from The Beta Band.

Forever Now is the 10th studio album released by British pop musical group Level 42, released in March 1994. There were two releases of the album with different track-listings and cover art. The first release in 1994 on RCA Records has 11 tracks. In 1996, the album was re-issued by the label Resurgence, with 15 tracks including six additional tracks, but without the songs "Tired Of Waiting" and "All Over You". Also, some of the songs on this version varied in length from those on the RCA release, and the track "Billy's Gone" was completely remixed. The Resurgence album was re-released in 2009 by the label Edsel, as a double CD, bringing "Tired Of Waiting" and "All Over You" back to the track-listing again, and also adding extended remixes of "All Over You", "Forever Now", "Learn To Say No" and "Love In A Peaceful World". The sleeve notes for the reissue state that the Resurgence version of the album contained the original intended track- listing.
