The Alliance Party (Spanish : Partido Alianza) is a centre-right political party in Panama.
The party was founded on March 2, 2018, by federal deputy José Muñoz (formerly of the Democratic Change party). As of April 2019 the party listed more than 39,000 members. [1]
Initially, the party sought to have its own electoral offer and held its presidential primaries on October 7, 2018, having as winner José Domingo Arias, former presidential candidate of the CD during 2014; However, the low participation in the primaries and the subsequent resignation of Arias as a presidential candidate on December 26, 2018, led to the rapprochement of the party with the CD, and an alliance was formed between the two parties a few days later, to participate in the 2019 general election and having Rómulo Roux of the CD as the presidential candidate of the "A change to wake up" alliance.
The party is considered a liberal nationalist one, supporting gender equality and defending the secular state.

The Libertarian Movement Party is a political party based on libertarian conservatism in Costa Rica. It was founded in May 1994. After an important protagonism during early 2000s with its perennial nominee Otto Guevara among the main candidates and reaching third place in 2006 and 2010, it was affected by several corruption scandals and lack of funds, the party gradually suffered a debacle in 2014 ending in fourth on the presidential ticket, and fifth in Parliament. Later losing all its mayors in the mid-term local election of 2016, to finally having bad results in 2018 with Guevara's candidacy reaching only 1% of support and losing all seats in Congress.

The Broad Front was a Chilean political coalition founded in early 2017, composed of left-wing parties and movements. Its first electoral contest was the 2017 Chilean general election, where their presidential candidate Beatriz Sánchez came third with 20% of the vote in the first round of election. The Broad Front also expanded their electoral representation to 20 deputies, 1 senator and 21 out of 278 Regional Councillors, thus consolidating the movement as the 'third force' in Chilean politics.

General elections were held in Panama on 5 May 2019. Due to constitutional term limits, incumbent President Juan Carlos Varela was ineligible for a second consecutive term. Businessman and politician Laurentino Cortizo of the centre-left Democratic Revolutionary Party won the election with around 33% of the vote, narrowly defeating Rómulo Roux of the centre-right Democratic Change, who won 31% of the vote. The PRD also won a majority in the National Assembly. The ruling Panameñista Party of President Juan Carlos Varela suffered its worst result in history. Its candidate, Panama City mayor José Isabel Blandón, received only 11% of the vote and came in fourth behind independent candidate Ricardo Lombana. The party also lost half its seats in the National Assembly.
General elections were held in Costa Rica on 6 February 2022, to elect the president, two vice-presidents, and all 57 deputies of the Legislative Assembly. As none of the presidential nominees obtained at least 40% of the votes, a runoff was held on 3 April 2022, between the top two candidates, José María Figueres and Rodrigo Chaves Robles.
Avanza Libertad, originally founded in 2019 as Frente Despertar, was an Argentine right-wing political coalition. Renamed in 2020, Avanza Libertad had legal status in the Buenos Aires Province. Ideologically, it is libertarian conservative, supportive of economic liberalism, and critical of both Kirchnerism and Juntos por el Cambio. Led by José Luis Espert, it included centre-right and far-right factions, with its more radical factions being compared to Spain's Vox.

Due to constitutional term limits, incumbent president Laurentino Cortizo was ineligible for a second consecutive term. The winners of the general election, including the new president of Panama, were inaugurated on 1 July.
