The Gathering are a Dutch rock band formed in Oss, North Brabant in 1989. The band's lineup currently consists of founding brothers René Rutten (guitars) and Hans Rutten (drums), Silje Wergeland, Hugo Prinsen Geerligs (bass) and Frank Boeijen (keyboards).
Mandylion is the third studio album by the Dutch band the Gathering. It was released on 22 August 1995 by Century Media Records. The record is their first album to feature vocalist Anneke van Giersbergen. The album was recorded and mixed at Woodhouse Studios in Hagen, Germany between 1 and 16 June 1995, under the guidance of Siggi Bemm and Waldemar Sorychta.
Dancing on the Ceiling is the third solo studio album by American singer Lionel Richie, released on August 5, 1986. The album was originally to be titled Say You, Say Me, after the Academy Award-winning track of the same name, but it was renamed to a different track's title after Richie rewrote several songs on the album. The album was released to generally positive reviews and it made No. 1 on the US Billboard 200 chart, selling 4 million copies. The album was Richie’s second with session guitarist Carlos Rios. Following this album's release, Richie went on a long hiatus, not releasing an album of entirely new material for another ten years.

The album was recorded at Bauwhaus Studios, Amsterdam, and Wisseloord Studios, Hilversum, between July and October 1998 under the guidance of producer Attie Bauw.
Dance with My Father is the thirteenth and final studio album by American R&B/soul singer Luther Vandross. It was released by J Records on June 10, 2003 in the United States and served as the follow-up to his self-titled studio album (2001). Always… is the debut studio album of the Dutch band The Gathering. The record was initially released on 9 June 1992, in Europe by Foundation 2000 and in North America by Pavement Music. In 1994, a first remixed version of the album was released by Foundation 2000. In 1999, a second remixed version was released by Psychonaut Records. The Mexican edition was released by Scarecrow Records.

Black Light District (2002) is an EP by the Dutch rock band The Gathering. It was first made available as an internet-only release on 24 June 2002 and officially went in distribution on 16 September 2002. The EP marks a 12½-year anniversary of the band, and also the end of their five-album contract with Century Media Records. Black Light District was released under The Gathering's own label Psychonaut Records, and it is the label's first completely new release, however, since an EP does not qualify as an album, the later released Souvenirs is widely regarded as the first new album release of the label.
Home is the eighth studio album by Dutch band The Gathering. The album was released on 15 April 2006 by Sanctuary Records through its heavy metal label Noise. The album had a separate release in North America which took place on 18 April 2006 by Brooklyn-based label The End Records. The album features B-sides and demos the group released from 1995 to 2000 while with Century Media. The first disc is compiled from B-Sides taken from The Gathering's out-of-print single releases, whilst the second disc is composed of demo recordings from the albums Nighttime Birds and How to measure a planet?. Included are such rarities as their cover versions of Talk Talk, Dead Can Dance and Slowdive.

Afterwords is an album by the Dutch rock band The Gathering, released via Psychonaut Records on 25 October 2013. It is referred to as either a studio album or a remix album, containing remakes of five songs from Disclosure, but the band consider Afterwords more like an EP. Drummer Hans Rutten has stated, "We all see Disclosure as our last studio album, and Afterwords was more or less a Disclosure after-party... It's a mini album, maybe, but it's a long album. But that said, we don't see it as a full-length album of The Gathering, more as sort of an EP kind of thing." The record is the last album before the band went on hiatus and bassist Marjolein Kooijman quit in 2014.
Beautiful Distortion is the eleventh album by Dutch rock band the Gathering. It was released on 29 April 2022 via the Gathering's imprint Psychonaut Records. It is their first full-length album in over nine years, after the band took an hiatus in 2014. It is also the first studio album to feature the band's founding bassist Hugo Prinsen Geerligs since their 2003 effort Souvenirs. He replaced Marjolein Kooijman, who played bass for the band between 2004 and 2014.
