Alok Ranjan (born 9 March 1956) is a retired 1978 batch IAS officer from the U.P Cadre. He retired on 1 July 2016 [2] after holding the office of Chief Secretary for the Government of Uttar Pradesh (the highest ranking Civil Service official in the State Government of Uttar Pradesh) [3] for over two years.
After retirement,he was appointed as the Chief Adviser to Chief Minister of U.P and Chairman U.P.S.I.D.C (Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Corporation). [2] He resigned from this post following the defeat of the incumbent Samajwadi Party government in the state assembly elections. [4] [5]

The Indian Administrative Service (IAS) is the administrative arm of the All India Services of Government of India. Deepak Singhal is a 1982 batch IAS of Uttar Pradesh cadre. In September 2016 he was appointed as Chairman of Uttar Pradesh Vigilance Commission and Administrative Tribunal. He was the Chief Secretary of Government of Uttar Pradesh from 7 July 2016 to 13 September 2016. He was replaced by Rahul Bhatnagar,the then Finance Commissioner &Principal Secretary and Addl. Resident Commissioner of Uttar Pradesh.

J. Satyanarayana is a retired 1977 batch Indian Administrative Service officer of Andhra Pradesh cadre. Satyanarayana is the current Chairman of Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI),the nodal agency of Government of India for implementing Aadhaar. He also served as the Communications and Information Technology Secretary of India.
The State Election Commission Uttar Pradesh,commonly known as the Uttar Pradesh State Election Commission,is an independent constitutional body responsible for conducting elections for urban and rural local bodies—the constitutionally mandated third-tier of government in India—in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh (UP). The commission is headed by the Uttar Pradesh State Election Commissioner,at present,Manoj Kumar.
Anup Chandra Pandey is a retired 1984-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer belonging to the Uttar Pradesh cadre. He currently is the Election Commissioner of India. Pandey had also served as the Chief Secretary of the Government of Uttar Pradesh,in addition to serving as the Infrastructure and Industrial Development Commissioner of Uttar Pradesh,before retiring on 31 August 2019. Arvind Kumar Sharma is an Indian politician from Uttar Pradesh,Former IAS officer and Bureaucrat. He is currently the Cabinet Minister in Uttar Pradesh. Before joining politics,Sharma was an Indian Administrative Service officer from Gujarat Cadre of the 1988 batch. Sharma is considered a close aide of Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi with whom he had worked for 20 years. He was also CEO,Gujarat Infrastructure Development Board and has also managed multiple Vibrant Gujarat summits. He joined the Prime Minister's Office as a Joint Secretary in 2014 and was elevated to the Additional Secretary rank in 2017. In 2019,he moved out of the PMO to become a secretary in the Ministry of Micro,Small and Medium Enterprises but took voluntary retirement in January 2021.
