The Samajwadi Party is a socialist political party in India. It was founded on 4 October 1992 by former Janata Dal politician Mulayam Singh Yadav and is headquartered in New Delhi. The Samajwadi Party is currently led by former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh,Akhilesh Yadav. As of 2024,it is currently the third-largest political party in India,and the largest party in Uttar Pradesh.
Vindhya Pradesh was a former state of India. It occupied an area of 61,131.5 km2. It was created in 1948 as Union of Baghelkhand and Bundelkhand States,shortly after Indian independence,from the territories of the princely states in the eastern portion of the former Central India Agency. Atiq Ahmed was a notorious Indian gangster and politician. He served as a member of the Indian Parliament and the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly from the Samajwadi Party. Ahmed had more than 160 criminal cases registered against him and competed in several elections from jail. As of March 2023,the Uttar Pradesh Police had seized properties worth ₹11,684 crore (US$1.4 billion) belonging to Ahmed and his family. In 2019,he was convicted of kidnapping a witness who testified against him regarding the 2005 murder of his political rival Raju Pal. Ahmed remained in jail until his assassination by three gunmen on his way to a court-mandated medical checkup on 15 April 2023.
Akhilesh Yadav is an Indian politician and national president of the Samajwadi Party who served as the 20th Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. Having assumed the chief minister's office on 15 March 2012 at the age of 38,he is the youngest person to have held the office till date. He is the incumbent Member of Parliament for Kannauj in the 18th Lok Sabha. He is the parliamentary party leader of Samajwadi Party in 18th Lok Sabha. Earlier,he was an elected as the Member of Legislative Assembly for Karhal in the 18th Vidhan Sabha,before resigning and has also been the Leader of Opposition in the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly from March 2022 to June 2024.

Shri Prakash Shukla October 6,1973 - September 22,1998 (aged 24) was an Indian Gangster active during the 1990's mainly in the state of Uttar Pradesh. He used to be hired by primarily politicians to kill their opponents. He was killed on 22 September 1998,in an encounter with the UP police's Special Task Force. He was about 25 at the time of his death.

Akhil Bharatiya Loktantrik Congress was a regional political party in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It was founded in October 1997 by Naresh Agarwal along with Jagdambika Pal,Atul Kumar Singh,Bacha Pathak,Rajeev Shukla,Hari Shankar Tiwari,Suresh Chand Bhardwaj,Shripati Singh and Shyam Sunder Sharma. The party was formed when these leaders broke away from the Indian National Congress to join the All India Indira Congress (Tiwari),led by N. D. Tiwari which led another switched to form Loktantrik Congress.
Madan Bhaiya,born Madan Singh Kasana,is an Indian politician. Bhaiya is a member of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly and as of 2022 represents the Khatauli Assembly constituency. Bhaiya has a reputation as a folk hero in his area and is often referred to as Bahubali or Bhaiya Ji Madan. He has been linked to gang violence and as of 2013 had over half a dozen alleged murder charges. He travels in a bulletproof car along with 2–3 pilot cars containing his security detail. Bhaiya previously served four terms as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) for the Khekada Assembly constituency of Baghpat district.
