Amber Jean Peebles (born in 1983 [1] in Wellington, New Zealand) is a New Zealand tv host and beauty pageant titleholder who won Miss World New Zealand 2004. She competed at Miss International 2003 and Miss World 2004.
Peebles attended Howick College. After college she studied fashion design and makeup artistry. [2] She won the Miss World NZ title in 2003 and was a contestant for the 2003 Miss International and 2004 Miss World competitions. [2] [3]
Her broadcasting career began on radio at The Edge and on television for TV3 where she was a correspondent on its Melbourne Cup coverage. [3] in 2006 Amber became the Host of MTV NZ, which took her around the world interviewing musicians and celebrities alike for four years. In 2010, she became a host of Red Bull Chronicles on Sky Sport 1. [3] Amber was frequently featured on the Paul Henry Show's panel and is currently the host of Sky TV's 'All Access', a job that has her travelling and interviewing actors about upcoming projects.
Peebles is also an active Voice Over artist.
From 2011 to 2012 she hosted the morning show for More FM with Marc Ellis and Stu Tolin. [4] [5]
She spent 2014–2017 as the Fashion Editor at large for Remix Magazine; she is the New Zealand ambassador for Westfield Group and American Express, and is a Moet ambassador.
Peebles is married to television presenter Brooke Howard-Smith. [6]
John James Campbell is a New Zealand journalist and radio and television personality. He is currently a presenter and reporter at TVNZ; before that, he presented Checkpoint, Radio New Zealand's drive time show, from 2016 to 2018. For ten years prior to that, he presented Campbell Live, a 7 p.m. current affairs programme on TV3. He was a rugby commentator for Sky Sports during the All Blacks' test against Samoa in early 2015 — a fixture he had vocally campaigned for while hosting Campbell Live.
Paul Henry Hopes, known professionally as Paul Henry, is a New Zealand radio and television broadcaster who was the host of the late night show The Paul Henry Show on New Zealand's TV3 which ended December 2014 so that Henry could host a new cross platform three-hour breakfast show Monday to Friday on TV3, RadioLive and online. Paul Henry launched on 7 April 2015 and initially had an audience larger than the two shows it replaced on radio and TV. For nine months in 2012, he also co-hosted an Australian television show, Breakfast, which ceased production on 30 November 2012, due to low ratings.
Hilary Ann Barry is a New Zealand journalist and television personality who co-hosts Seven Sharp with Jeremy Wells on TVNZ 1. Homer began her career as a producer for Breakfast Radio at Classic Hits in the late 1990s.
