The Samoa men's national association football team represents Samoa in men's international football and it is controlled by the Football Federation Samoa, the governing body for football in Samoa. Samoa's home ground is Toleafoa J. S. Blatter Soccer Stadium in Apia. It was known as the Western Samoa national football team until 1997.

The men's football tournament at the 2019 Pacific Games was held from 8 to 20 July 2019. It was the 15th edition of the men's Pacific Games football tournament. Together with the women's competition, all matches were played at the J.S. Blatter Stadium in Apia, Samoa.

The 2019 VFF National Super League is the 9th edition of the VFF National Super League, the highest tier football league in Vanuatu apart from Port Vila. Most games took place at the 10,000-capacity Port Vila Municipal Stadium, the 6,500-capacity Korman Stadium and the 6,000-capacity Luganville Soccer Stadium.

The women's football tournament at the 2019 Pacific Games is being held from 8 to 20 July 2019. It is the 5th edition of the women's Pacific Games football tournament. Together with the men's competition, all matches are being played at the J.S. Blatter Stadium in Apia, Samoa.

The 2020 OFC Champions League group stage was played from 15 February to 7 March 2020. A total of 16 teams competed in the group stage to decide the eight places in the knockout stage of the 2020 OFC Champions League.

The 2023 OFC Champions League qualifying stage will be played from 18 to 24 February 2023. A total of four teams will compete in the qualifying stage to decide the last of the 8 places in the group stage of the 2023 OFC Champions League.
