The Ampthill Clay is a Mesozoic geologic formation in southern England. Dinosaur remains diagnostic to the genus level are among the fossils that have been recovered from the formation. [1]
The Arundel Formation, also known as the Arundel Clay, is a clay-rich sedimentary rock formation, within the Potomac Group, found in Maryland of the United States of America. It is of Aptian age. This rock unit had been economically important as a source of iron ore, but is now more notable for its dinosaur fossils. It consists of clay lenses within depressions in the upper part of the Patuxent Formation that may represent oxbow swamp facies. It is named for Anne Arundel County, Maryland.
The Inferior Oolite is a sequence of Jurassic age sedimentary rocks in Europe. It was deposited during the Middle Jurassic. The Inferior Oolite Group as more recently defined is a Jurassic lithostratigraphic group in southern and eastern England. It has been variously known in the past as the Under Oolite, the Inferior Oolite, the Inferior Oolite Series and the Redbourne Group.
The Forest Marble is a geological formation in England. Part of the Great Oolite Group, it dates to back to the late Bathonian stage of the Middle Jurassic.
La Bocana Roja Formation is a geological formation in Baja California, Mexico whose strata date back to the Late Cretaceous. Dinosaur remains are among the fossils that have been recovered from the formation.
The Glauconie argileuse is a geological formation in Europe whose strata date back to the Late Cretaceous. Dinosaur remains are among the fossils that have been recovered from the formation.
The Minhe Formation is a geological formation in northwestern China, whose strata date back to the Late Cretaceous period.
The Yuliangze Formation, or Yuliangzi Formation, is a geological formation in Heilongjiang, China whose strata date back to the early-middle Maastrichtian. Dinosaur remains are among the fossils that have been recovered from the formation.
The Kuangyuan Series is a Late Jurassic (Oxfordian-?Tithonian) geologic formation in Szechuan, China. Dinosaur remains are among the fossils that have been recovered from the formation.
The Cerro Castillo Formation is a Jurassic geologic formation in Argentina. Dinosaur remains diagnostic to the genus level are among the fossils that have been recovered from the formation.
The Jingxing Formation is a Mesozoic geologic formation in China. Dinosaur remains diagnostic to the genus level are among the fossils that have been recovered from the formation.
The Korycanar Formation is a Late Cretaceous geologic formation in the Czech Republic. Archosauromorph remains diagnostic to the genus level are among the fossils that have been recovered from the formation and also dinosaur remains are among the fossils that have been recovered from the formation, although none have yet been referred to a specific genus.
The Lisangou Formation is a Mesozoic geologic formation in China. Dinosaur remains diagnostic to the genus level are among the fossils that have been recovered from the formation.
The Turney Ranch Formation is a Mesozoic geologic formation. Dinosaur remains diagnostic to the genus level are among the fossils that have been recovered from the formation.
The Sengoku Formation is an Early Cretaceous geologic formation. Dinosaur remains diagnostic to the genus level are among the fossils that have been recovered from the formation.
