CTIC has also hosted the Spanish office of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) since 2003, acting as the W3C Chapter for Spain and the Latin-American Spanish-speaking religions. This role involves promoting W3C standards among developers and organizations, as well as participating in the research and definition of web standards through various working groups.

The Egyptian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) is a government body headquartered in Smart Village Egypt. Established in 1999, the Ministry is responsible for information and communications technology (ICT) issues in the Arab Republic of Egypt, including the planning, implementation, and operation of government ICT plans and strategies. It is led by the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, who is nominated by the Prime Minister and is a member of the Cabinet. The current ICT Minister is Amr Talaat, who assumed office on June 14, 2018.

The Ministry of Transport and Communications is one of the twelve ministries which comprise the Finnish Government. LVM oversees Finland's transportation network and the country's communication services.

Zewail City of Science, Technology and Innovation is a nonprofit, independent institution of learning, research and innovation. The concept of the City was proposed in 1999 and its cornerstone laid on January 1, 2000. It's named after its founder the late Dr. Ahmed Zewail, the Nobel laureate in chemistry 1999. After numerous delays, the project was revived by the Egyptian cabinet's decree on May 11, 2011 following the January 25 Revolution. The Cabinet labeled it a National Project for Scientific Renaissance and named it Zewail City of Science and Technology. Zewail City of Science and Technology with its three constituents – the university, research institutes, and technology park.

The Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) is a statutory government organization operating under the Information and Communication Technology Division of the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications, and Information Technology of the government of Bangladesh. Its headquarters are situated in Agargaon, Dhaka, Bangladesh. It was initially known as the National Computer Committee (NCC) in 1983 and transformed into the Bangladesh Computer Council through Act No. 9 of the National Parliament in 1990.

The National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, commonly known as NTRA, is the Egypt government-approved regulatory and competition authority that was established in accordance of the Egyptian telecommunication regulation law No. 10/ 2003 as the national Authority equipped to regulate and administer the telecommunications region. Regulating the competition environment between the operators inside the industry according to the Egyptian constitution was a huge mandatory case after the huge rate of telecommunication technology growth, as well as ensuring the availability of qualitative and green telecommunications services.

Egypt Vision 2030 is a national agenda launched in February 2016 by the Egyptian Government and unveiled by the Egyptian president Abd el-Fattah el-Sisi. The vision consists of eight main national goals to be met by 2030 that are in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and the Sustainable Development Strategy for Africa 2063.

Nizar Ben Néji is a Tunisian politician, and former minister of communication technologies, serving at this position from 2021 to 2024. He is a Tunisian computer engineer and a doctor in information and communication technologies. Dr. Nizar Ben Neji was appointed in charge of the ministry of communication technologies of Tunisia on August 2nd 2021 and then confirmed later at this position on October 11th 2021 as a member of the government led by prime minister Najla Bouden then prime minister Ahmed Hachani.

The African Internet Governance Forum (AfIGF) is a multistakeholder forum that facilitates dialogue on Internet governance issues. It is one of the 19 regional IGF initiatives and aims to address and discuss the issues of all 54 nations in Africa.
