Miss Chinese International Pageant, or MCI for short, is an annual international beauty pageant, organized and broadcast by TVB, a leading network television station in Hong Kong. It was established in 1988 and the Chinese name of the pageant was rebranded in 2007.
Charmaine Sheh Sze-man is a Hong Kong actress. After winning second runner-up in the 1997 Miss Hong Kong pageant, Sheh signed a contract with TVB in 1998. Myolie Wu Hang-yee is a Hong Kong actress and singer. In 2011, she won "Best Actress" for her role in Curse of the Royal Harem, a TVB grand production, "Most Favourite TV Female Character" for her role in Ghetto Justice and also won "Extraordinary Elegant Actress" at the TVB Anniversary Awards 2011, making her the first ever Triple TV Queen of the year. By summer of 2015, Myolie left TVB to explore new avenues.
Linda Chung Ka-yan is a Chinese-Canadian actress, singer and songwriter. She signed a long-term contract with TVB in 2004 after winning the Miss Chinese International. Chung ended her contract with TVB in 2018.
Fala Chen is a Chinese-born American actress. She is best known for her roles in Hong Kong TVB drama series including Steps, No Regrets, Triumph in the Skies II, and Lives of Omission. She also stars in the Hong Kong films Tales from the Dark 2 (2013), Turning Point (2009), and Despicable Me 3. On stage, she portrayed Kyra Hollis in Skylight by David Hare (2016). In 2018, Chen wrote, directed and starred in the short film Passinger, which was a finalist for the Sundance Film Festival: Hong Kong Short Film Competition. She made her first Hollywood appearance in the HBO miniseries The Undoing in 2020 and starred in the Marvel Cinematic Universe superhero film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings in 2021.
Angie Chiu is a Hong Kong actress, and was the third runner up in the 1973 Miss Hong Kong pageant.

The term TVB "fadan" (花旦) is used to describe the most popular and highest paid actresses at Hong Kong television station, TVB. This term was first coined in the 1970s with the first group of fadans, Louise Lee, Liza Wang, Gigi Wong, and Angie Chiu
