Anaerostipes rhamnosivorans is a Gram-variable, strictly anaerobic, spore-forming, butyrate-producing and curly rod-shaped bacterium from the genus Anaerostipes which has been isolated from the human faeces of an infant in the Netherlands. [1] [3] [4] [5]
