T. Nagi Reddy Indian politician

Tarimela Nagi Reddy was a communist politician from Andhra Pradesh, India. He was born in a wealthy family in Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh. He completed his schooling from the Rishi Valley School India, founded by Andhra philosopher Jiddu Krishnamurti. He would later study at Loyola College in Chennai and at Banaras Hindu University in Varanasi. During his student days, he got involved with nationalism and Marxism. His political activities got him jailed in 1940, 1941 and 1946. He revolted against his father who was a landlord and donated his land of over 1000 acres to landless labourers.

Kotla Vijaya Bhaskara Reddy served as the chief minister of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh in 1983 and then from 1992 to 1994. Reddy was a member of the Indian National Congress and was elected to the Lok Sabha six times. Reddy also served as a Union cabinet Minister, along with serving on several parliamentary committees. He lost the 1999 elections and subsequently retired from active politics. Botanical Garden in Hyderabad is named after him.

Rajampet is a Municipality in YSR Kadapa district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, located in the Rayalaseema Region. The town has an average elevation of 139 meters (456 ft). Rajampet was a Nagar panchayat and upgraded as a Grade II Municipality in 2019 and has an area of 35.38 square kilometres (13.66 sq mi). It consists of 20 election wards.

Bhuma Nagi Reddy Indian politician

Bhuma Nagi Reddy was an Indian politician. He was elected in a by-election to the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly in 1992 after the sudden death of his brother, Bhuma Sekhar Reddy, an MLA from Allagadda constituency in Kurnool district. In 1996, Reddy was the Telugu Desam Party candidate against Prime Minister P. V. Narasimha Rao in the Nandyal Lok Sabha constituency election. He served in the 11th, 12th and 13th Lok Sabhas. Reddy died in office on 12 March 2017 after a massive heart attack at his home in Allagadda.

Reddy/Reddi is an Indian surname. In India it is predominantly used by members of the Telugu speaking Reddy caste. It is also used as a surname by members of the Reddi Lingayat and Reddy Vokkaliga communities of Karnataka.

Allola Indrakaran Reddy Indian politician

Allola Indrakaran Reddy is an Indian politician who is the current Minister of State for Endowments, Law and Forest, Environment, Science and Technology of Telangana since from 2019. He was elected as MLA of Nirmal in 2014 Generel Election as BSP candidate and won over Sri Hari Rao by margin of 10,000 votes. He later joined the TRS Party and became Minister in charge of law, housing and endowments. He was Member of Parliament of India. He was a member of the 10th and 14th Lok Sabhas.
