Anca Ionela Mateescu (born in 1981) is a Mexican canoeist. She participated in the 2007 Pan American Games and earned a bronze medal for her country in the Women's K1 500m canoe sprint event. [1]

Duron subsequently competed at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, but was eliminated in the repechages of the K-1 500 m event and the semifinals of the K-4 500 m event.

Canoeing competitions at the 2011 Pan American Games in Guadalajara were held from October 26 to October 29 at the Rowing and Canoeing Course in Ciudad Guzmán. The Canoe Slalom event was dropped due to an anticipated low number of entries. Canoeing at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo was contested in two main disciplines: canoe slalom, to take place from 25 to 30 July 2021, and canoe sprint, from 2 to 7 August. The slalom competitions will be held at the Kasai Canoe Slalom Course; whereas the sprint events will be staged at Sea Forest Waterway.

Canoeing competitions at the 2015 Pan American Games surrounding Toronto are held in two main disciplines: the sprint, from 11 to 14 July and the slalom, from 18 to 19 July. The slalom competition will be held at the Minden Wild Water Preserve in Minden Hills. The sprint events were staged at the Welland Pan Am Flatwater Centre in Welland.

She also added two individual Pan American Games silvers in 2019 in both the K-1 200 m, and K-1 500 m. Langlois competed as part of Canada's Olympic team at 2016 Rio Olympics.

Brenda Rojas is an Argentine Olympic canoeist. She represented her country at the 2016 Summer Olympics. She also competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics.

Canoeing competitions at the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru, are scheduled to be held at the Rio Canete located in the city of Lunahuaná (slalom) and Albufera Medio Mundo in the city of Huacho (sprint).

Alanna Bray-Lougheed is a Canadian sprint kayaker. She is the current Pan American Games champion in the women's K-2 500 m with Andréanne Langlois, as well as in the K-4 500 metres with Langlois, Anna Negulic, and Alexa Irvin. Bray-Lougheed was selected by the RBC Training Ground program, an elite Olympic athlete training and identification program for Canada, and joined the Canadian national team in 2015. She competed in the 2017 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships, her first World Championships, and made the A Final in the K-2 1,000 m, finishing sixth.
