Andrew Malcolm Ellis (born 24 March 1982) is a New Zealand former international cricketer,who played in One Day Internationals (ODIs) and Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is). In first-class cricket,Ellis played 26 State Championship games for Canterbury,up to the end of the 2006/7 season. Ellis retired from all forms of cricket in March 2020. [1] He was the second New Zealand cricketer to play 100 or more matches in each format of the game. [2]
A right-handed batsman and right arm fast medium bowler,he made his debut in 2003 against Auckland. He has scored 910 first class runs at an average of 26.76,with a top score of 78 against Northern Districts. He has also taken 32 wickets at 43.68 with a best analysis of 5 for 63 against Otago.
In 11 List-A one-day matches he has scored 157 runs at 22.42 with a top score of 46 and taken 3 wickets at just over 40. He also played six Twenty20 games with moderate returns.
He played for New Zealand Under-19s in the 2000/01 season in 2 'Tests' against South Africa under-19s and appeared for Marylebone Cricket Club in 2004.
In November 2017,he scored his 5,000th run for Canterbury in first-class cricket in the 2017–18 Plunket Shield season. [3] In June 2018,he was awarded a contract with Canterbury for the 2018–19 season. [4]
In 2018,Ellis was involved in a bizarre incident when a shot off Northern Districts batsman Jeet Raval ricocheted off his head and crossed the boundary on the full,going for six runs. [5]
Lee Kenneth Germon is a former New Zealand cricketer,wicket-keeper and former captain. He played for the provinces of Canterbury and Otago and is the most successful Canterbury cricket captain of the modern era. He was made captain of the New Zealand Cricket team on his Test match debut. He holds the unofficial record for the most runs (70),from a single over in first-class cricket.
Bradley-John Watling,known as BJ Watling,is a South African-born former New Zealand international cricketer who has represented Northern Districts since December 2004. He made his Test debut in December 2009 and eight months later played his first One Day International. In 2012,Watling assumed the role of wicket-keeper in Tests.
Todd Duncan Astle is a New Zealand cricketer who plays for the New Zealand national cricket team. Astle began his cricket career as an opening batsman,representing New Zealand in the 2006 Under-19 Cricket World Cup,but over time playing first-class cricket for Canterbury,he morphed into a bowling all-rounder. He made his Test cricket debut for New Zealand in 2012 in Sri Lanka,but did not play another international match until 2015. He has since represented New Zealand in all three forms of the game,but he hasn't been able to keep a consistent place in the team in any format because of regular injury problems and competition with other spin bowlers. In January 2020,Astle announced his retirement from first-class cricket to focus on limited-overs cricket.
Colin Munro is a South-African born New Zealand international cricketer,who plays limited overs formats of the game. He was a member of the New Zealand Under 19 side and is currently a member of the Auckland cricket team.
Timothy Grant Southee,is a New Zealand international cricketer who plays for New Zealand cricket team in all formats of the game,captains in Tests and vice captains in T20Is. He is a right-arm fast-medium bowler and a hard-hitting lower order batsman. The third New Zealand bowler to take 300 Test wickets,he was one of the country's youngest cricketers,debuting at the age of 19 in February 2008. On his Test debut against England he took 5 wickets and made 77 off 40 balls in the second innings. He plays for Northern Districts in the Plunket Shield,Ford Trophy and Super Smash as well as Northland in the Hawke Cup. He was named as New Zealand's captain for the first T20I against West Indies in place of Kane Williamson,who was rested for that game. The Blackcaps won that match by 47 runs.
Neil Trevor Broom is a New Zealand international cricketer. Broom has played domestic cricket for teams including Otago Volts,Derbyshire County Cricket Club and Canterbury. After making his international debut in 2009,Broom was recalled in to the squad in 2017 following a successful domestic season,and made his Test debut.
Luke Ronchi is a New Zealand-Australian cricket coach and a former cricketer. He represented both the Australia national cricket team and New Zealand national cricket team in international cricket. Ronchi is the only player to have played for both Australia and New Zealand in cricketing history and was part of the New Zealand World Cup side that finished runners-up in the 2015 Cricket World Cup,after their defeat in the final to Australia. He played for Wellington in New Zealand domestic matches and has played Twenty20 matches for a range of sides. He retired from international cricket in June 2017.

Jeet Ashok Raval is a New Zealand cricketer. Raval is an opening batsman,who plays for New Zealand internationally and Northern Districts domestically. Originally from Ahmedabad in India,Raval played cricket for New Zealand's under-19 team and then spent eight years playing first-class cricket as an opening batsman for Auckland and Central Districts before being selected to play Test cricket for New Zealand for the first time in 2016. Raval initially struggled for form and it took 17 Test matches and 7 half-centuries before he scored his maiden Test century against Bangladesh.
Ryan James McCone is a former New Zealand domestic cricketer,who played for Canterbury and Central Districts. He is a left-hand batsman and left-arm medium bowler. He made his début in the New Zealand State Championship in March 2009 and,with a century,became the first débutante number nine batsman to score a hundred.
Mark Sinclair Chapman is a Hong Kong-born New Zealand international cricketer who has played limited over internationals for Hong Kong and New Zealand. Currently playing for New Zealand,Chapman is a left-handed batsman who bowls slow left-arm orthodox. He made his One Day International debut for Hong Kong against the United Arab Emirates in the 2015–17 ICC World Cricket League Championship on 16 November 2015. He is eligible to represent New Zealand through his father. In February 2018,he made T20I and ODI debuts for New Zealand against England.
