Florian Cloud de Bounevialle O'Malley Armstrong, known professionally as Dido, is an English singer and songwriter. Dido attained international success with her debut album No Angel (1999). Hit singles from the album include "Here with Me" and "Thank You". It sold over 21 million copies worldwide, and won her several awards, including two Brit Awards: Best British Female and Best British Album, and the MTV Europe Music Award for Best New Act. The first verse of "Thank You" is sampled in "Stan", a collaboration with Eminem. Her next album, Life for Rent (2003), continued her success with the hit singles "White Flag" and "Life for Rent". In 2004, Dido performed with other British and Irish artists in the Band Aid 20 version of the charity single "Do They Know It's Christmas?".
Killswitch Engage is an American metalcore band from Westfield, Massachusetts, formed in 1999 after the disbanding of Overcast and Aftershock. Killswitch Engage's current lineup consists of vocalist Jesse Leach, guitarists Joel Stroetzel and Adam Dutkiewicz, bassist Mike D'Antonio, and drummer Justin Foley. The band has released eight studio albums and two live performance albums. Their eighth studio album, Atonement, was released on August 16, 2019.

He had ten top 40 hit singles in the UK between 1983 and 1986; six of those 10 singles reached the top ten, including, "What Is Love?", "New Song", and "Things Can Only Get Better". His 1984 album Human's Lib reached number one on the UK Albums Chart. Around the world, Jones had 15 top 40 hit singles between 1983 and 1992. Cut the Crap is the sixth and final studio album by the English punk band the Clash, released on 4 November 1985 by CBS Records. It was recorded in early 1985 at Weryton Studios, Munich, following a turbulent period: co-founder, lead guitarist and co-principal songwriter Mick Jones and drummer Topper Headon had been dismissed by lead vocalist Joe Strummer and bassist Paul Simonon. Jones and Headon were replaced by three unknowns: guitarists Vince White and Nick Sheppard and drummer Pete Howard. During the tense recording sessions, Clash manager Bernie Rhodes and Strummer fought with each other for control over the band's songwriting and musical direction.

Revolution Of The Heart is Howard Jones's eighth album, released in 2005. This album marked a return to the electronic production that feature on Jones' early albums. A number of promo singles were released - "Just Look at You Know" and "Revolution of the Heart". Notably, the album's lyrics are broadly influenced by Nichiren Buddhism which Jones began practicing in the early 90s. The album was released in a number of formats including a limited edition version sold through Jones' website which sold out quickly. A double disc was released in some territories which included a number of remixed tracks, while the Japanese edition contained some reworked versions of old hits as bonus tracks.
People is officially Howard Jones's seventh album, released in 1998. After the US release on Ark 21 Records, People was a global release via Jones' own record label dtox. The album is a reworked version of the 1997 Japanese-only release Angels & Lovers. The title track and "When Lovers Confess" were deleted and three new tracks added: "Tomorrow Is Now", "Everything", and "Let the People Have Their Say". The album did not chart in the UK. However, the single "Let the People Have Their Say" broke the top 100 barrier in the UK and received ample air play on BBC Radio 2. The tri-fold slip case version features the faces of 210 people, all friends, family and fans of Jones.
